“Stopped by for takeout pizza. There is an entrance for takeout and one for the dining room, which looked very nice. There's also a bar area, so they have UT all covered. The pizza was delicious and I'd order there again. Service was very fast and friendly. Would recommend.”

“I was there for the 1st time at 7am waiting for a ride. The place is a bit dark, but very clean. The bartender was awesome. She came over the second I settled in. She told me what was available food-wise. I just ordered fries which were delicious .They even had malt vinegar for an extra treat. The prices were excellent for the quantity and quality of the bar food they serve. The drinks are a generous size as well.”

“Usually I am very pleased with this location, however, just took the time to travel 45 minutes one way to this restaurant, to find out they’re closed now on Sundays apparently, there was no signs explaining if this was once off or not, all lights off, and the business owner was inside the building but ignoring people’s prescience. The date of attempted but failed visit was February 25, 2024. I suggested to Google that they ought to contact the establishment for updated hours of operation, since this seems to be inaccurate.Edit to owner: no, on Sunday your hours of operation both on your site and Google showed as either 11am to 9pm or 1pm to 9pm. That’s why I am the one that suggested you update your hours, I’m the reason that was pushed to you, the owner, through Google, because I was upset to travel to see as such.And to say that, no, if I’m correct the owner was a female, blonde hair. I’ve met her before. If not she was the manager, and I saw her behind the bar when I pulled up and stepped out to walk into the establishment to be greeted with a locked door when every place I checked said they were open.”

“Off the beaten path arises a fried chicken place like no other in this part of the country. It's located in a convenience store so you only have takeout. But if you like fried chicken with the tiniest hint of spice this is your place. The chicken is very juicy and flavorful. They even manage to keep the breast moist. My big drawback with white meat is that it's dry and definitely gets worse when reheated. This chicken is dripping with moisture fresh and if you reheat it in the oven, it's very much like it was when fresh. Even after 2-3 days in the fridge it still heats up exceptionally well. Oh, the sides are great too.”

“Hidden gem for sure! Excellent pizza and service. We came in on a rainy Saturday for lunch and were greeted by the friendly owner. We got a HUGE order of chili fries that were amazing, some fresh slices, and even got baked ziti with a salad and dessert for dinner. I drive past this Dunkin’ every day on my hour-long commute to work, and I was in and out of the drive-thru in less than five minutes, AND the employee even apologized for the long wait (even though it wasn’t long at all)! “I had the best acai bowl my lips have ever touched in my life. On a warm spring day, I walked into this establishment and was greeted by the kind, altruistic, sweet man at the counter. “Probably the best Italian food in Berks county. This place has been open since 1936, it is so good that it needs no big advertising, people know this place because somebody else told them about it. Their small menu tells you that they have mastered every single plate, and the specials are always incredible; the wine selection is excellent as well. “We had my son’s 3rd birthday party here recently and everything was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, the space was clean, and the ice cream was amazing. We were allowed to move around tables and hang things on the wall which is really rare when you rent a place for a party. All the guests commented on how amazing this place was. We will definitely be back and will try to have my son’s party here next year.”

They had awesome seasonal cocktails (and a good selection of beers), in addition to selling the alcohols they made drinks with (locally made!). I love a local feeling bar, and this really hit the spot. Servers were amazing and very knowledgeable, in addition to the place feeling very cozy and intimate--it may be hard to get seating on a busy night, FYI!Three of us got cocktails (all very balanced and super delicious), and one of us got a local beer. Honestly, I wish I had this near me! The cocktails are what you'd expect to pay at a cocktail place ($11-15), but they were all worth it! If you're ever in West Reading on the Avenue, you should really check out the Bar Cart! It's a must visit.”
