“I hadn't thought of going to Meximac in a while, but we were craving Mexican food and I just wanted something close and not trendy -- authentic Mexican. I was not disappointed! We got the beef enchiladas, grilled veggie burrito and chicken burrito. The family favorite was the grilled veggie burrito, but all the food was good. And their guacamole is delicioso! Prices very reasonable for the serving size, too.“

“I ordered the Beef Birria Tacos. First time was good I ordered on a Saturday night. My second time I went around 4pm not as good the consommé had a strong tomato paste flavor to me and they added too many onions to the top. Overall the food was good. Best to call ahead there really isn’t a waiting area inside. I would recommend them and continue to support this small local business.“

“i found this place while searching for a chipotle and im very happy i did. ordered the birria chicken bowl and elote. the bowl came with diced tomatoes, red cabbage, cucumbers and guac (w no additional cost!). chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned but i can eat the lemon cilantro rice for days..! this was probably my first proper elote and it was flipping delicious. quick service for take outi will be back !“

“Don Memo is such a special business! My partner and I have been eating at the cart for years (often weekly), and are so excited that they've grown into their new truck! The breakfast burrito (medium spice level) is our usual order and is insanelyyyy good, and I can't get over the fish tacos on the new menu!! Beyond all this, the guys are so friendly and thoughtful, I love coming to see them at the Clark Park Farmers Market. It's well worth the wait, and fun to shop the market in the meantime!“

Be advised, with your food being prepared fresh to order, you will have a wait. My next time, I called ahead and my food was ready at pickup. “Made a return trip today and enjoyed the food even more than the first time. My friend had the loaded nachos which were mouth watering. We shared cheese quesadilla which were loaded and delicious. One pork tamale tasted so great we added a chicken tamale! I want to be adopted by the chef!!! Highly recommend a visit there. Plenty of free parking, immaculate rest rooms and restaurant is clean and cheerful. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Prices excellent. You won't be disappointed.“

As a true "frequent flyer"- I wish every airport had a Currito. It's a rare treat to find a place with truly healthy (veggie and nutrition dense) options that are high in flavor and options. Don't worry if you don't like "curry"- though there's curry in the name, there are many options that are curry-free. If you've never tried Indian fare, this is the best way to have a taste- customized and "safe" for even the pickiest of eaters. “Good Lord! Dios mio! These are some good tacos! I got the Authenticos... Steak! They were DEEEE-lish and huge. They were served with a roasted jalapeño, roasted green onions and roasted cactus... lime & cucumber slices... Two salsas: A hot, ting-tangy red and a milder, mellower green. The steak was sliced thin, well-seasoned and juicy. I am so happy West Philly-- (Cobbs Creek/Haddington, specifically)-- has such an authentic spot... right around the corner, practically! Now you do not have to go to South Philly, or even to Baltimore Ave for the reeeeal gooood stuff! Their flan is the richest, thickest, caramel-iest custard I have ever had. Drinks are Aguas Frescas (and not on the menu). I got the Horchata. It's a rice and cinnamon drink. Sweet, flavorful, refreshing. They also have Jamaica (which is made with hibiscus flowers). They serve all kinds of breakfast foods, too... I am torn now. Cuz I want to keep this little spot as my Secret Go-To... But I also want to tell EVERYBODY to go! “Had some time to kill between trains and stumbled across the food truck. I see now that they're known for seafood, but the al pastor burrito was fantastic and the service was great. I liked that I was able to order 3 different types of tacos. While all were delicious, the cabeza taco stood out as the clear winner. The meat was tender and well seasoned. “We came here for the first time this weekend and were pleasantly surprised. We got 2 quesidillas, a burrito, and the chips and cheese sauce. The cheese sauce was my favorite hands down. The pico mostly just tasted like tomatoes vs pico so that was my only complaint from a food standpoint. Otherwise, Drew was so awesome. Kept checking in on us and created a very welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be coming back.“

“Driving down Washington Ave while hungry is a bad idea for the same reason you're supposed to eat before grocery shopping. regardless, I have no regrets about pulling off the road to try this place out. Picking a random food truck is always a gamble, but I was super impressed by the quality of the food and the speed of service. $11 buys 3 steak tacos on tortillas so tender that they might actually be homemade--I don't know that for sure, but they weren't anything like the even the best storebought variety, so I can only assume. The salsas were flavorful and the red one was HOT, as it should be. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!“
