“If youre considering Mike and D's for food FORGET THAT! I had ordered from Mike and D's right after my first chemo treatment. They b.s.d me around for 2 hours, then their driver showed up and screamed at me because "I had a car" because i said the food was incredibly late. ISAY NO TO MIKE AND D'S AND YES TO HOMETOWN!!!!!!! I recieved absolutely AMAZING FOOD FROM HOMETOWN!. HOMETOWN IS FANTASTIC! They delivered pretty far out in the country. “Beautiful restaurant with wonderful outdoor dining options. We are here in Philly for a short stay. We came here at the beginning of trip, and sat in a wonderful outdoor sitting area that has a individual heater. The wait staff only entered the enclosure when serving food, otherwise they kept a safe distance. Felt very safe eating here in these covid times. We had the cheddar cheese biscuits, Brussels sprouts, fig and bacon pizza, beets and goat cheese and short ribs. We loved everything, except the short ribs was not as flavorful as I would have liked. The cheddar cheese biscuits and fig pizza was delicious. And OMG, the mulled wine was so good, especially on a cold winter night. We had such a good dinner, we came back again. Definitely recommend this place, love that they are keeping their guest and staff safe. (Food pics from second dinner)”

“This is definitely another one of Erie's hidden gemsI've discovered this local spot last summer, when I was disappointed with other places for not getting my order right, repeatedly.This tiny icecream shop is owned by 2 lovely owners, Kang & Gary Garnic. They offer homemade ice cream along with various flavor options for Dairy-free/ Gluten-free people as well. I have not had any flavors that I do not like yet, though my favorite is their "Sea salt" ice cream, a nice vanilla ice cream with a little twist of salty taste that is just perfect not to mention the blue color that makes it instagram-worthy).I love their subtly sweet taste that does not scream "There is a bunch of sugar added in here". and it leaves you wanting more after you finish your scoop.There are a couple of tables inside the shop as well as on their small patio. There is parking onsite, though I believe it can be a little challenging if you come on a hot day where everyone else also wants ice cream.I am so glad they are here. Definitely one more reason to love Erie❤️”

“Fun little diner where you can watch the trains go by right outside your window. We have been here for breakfast many times, but stopped for lunch today. I had a delicious burger and my wife enjoyed their turkey club. This is good home made food with friendly servers. Always a solid local crowd here, so you know its good! “We had the best time visiting for the 1st time at Twisted Elk Brewery!! The staff was very friendly and fun!! We tried 3 flights and loved all 12 beers , then tried one more!! The food was delicious too!! We will be back!! It was well worth out hour and a half drive!! ?????? Plus the Erie Bluffs State Park was absolutely beautiful just down the road!!”

“Jennifer is AMAZING!! She can be difficult to get ahold of on the phone at times. When we connected, we spent quite some time discussing the options and she was very patient with my decisions and offered suggestions on what would work (and things that would not). She did a beautiful job on our wedding cake and we are very happy with how it turned out! I liked a lot of details from different styles of cakes, so we worked together to create a cohesive vision. we wanted something unique, yet sophistocated and "fancy". Would highly recommend Jennifer Shaffer for all of your custom cakes! There are many flavor options but we stayed simple and were not disappointed. Delicious!”

“Kitchen hit it out of the park tonight for curbside pickup dinner. Caprice salad was just what the Chef ordered! Thick sliced fresh mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and roasted red pepperers with an to die for balsamic glaze. It was so good, it gave me hope for summer being right around the corner! Sloppy joe was on a huge seeded bun and tasted just like mom's and more than I could eat at one sitting. Here's the naughty part, onion rings on the side! They were golden an crispy on the outside and a real onion slice on the inside, not minced onion. Chef Scott is personable and takes pride in his service. You don't have to be a member to call in an order. Who wants to cook after a week of work? Not me!! I highly recommend.”

“After a day visiting Presque Isle we were starved so after a Yelp check we settled on Beechwood Inn's Hardwood which shares space with Erie Brewery. The place is very large, clean & accommodating. We were greeted on entering & the young man explained their services & menu. We sat outside on their covered patio. The pumpkin beer was great, the bbq wings were delicious, we all had hamburgers, which we all agreed were awesome, even the fries. Can't go wrong choosing this establishment. And dog friendly too.”
