“Piazza Napoli is an all-around great pizza parlor! They offer takeout, but also dine-in, and you can reserve for pizza party. Their delicious upside down pizza is our family fave, yummy inside outs, along with tomato pie. Prompt service, has been consistently ready on time for pick up. (We have not tried delivery.). Menu has so much to offer, everything has been tasty. Give 'em a try!“

“Worth the wait. This was our last Philly Michelin m-starred restaurant to try. It’s the absolute best. The food was extraordinary and I’m already dreaming of my next meal there. My particular favorites included the buckwheat tart with morels and both pasta courses (one was an add on). Sadly I will now never feel satiated unless I’m eating Chef Schulman’s triangoli. A beautiful and intimate space with incredible care by the entire staff. Amanda Schulman was incredibly welcoming and engaged with the diners. Wine pairing was outstanding as was my Negroni made with Bruto Americano. The marzipan rhubarb cake was the stuff dreams are made of. So, so, so happy after this meal. Did I mention? Attentive and wonderful, wonderful staff. Thank you for an amazing evening!“

“my fiance and I were in Philly (from Maine) and she treated me to Osteria for my birthday dinner. The service was amazing throughout the meal, I wish I got the servers name as he was really an incredibly friendly young man who clearly knew the menu very well. The atmosphere is wonderful and the interior is just lovely. In terms of the food, I had the wild boar bolognese which was a special that night, and it was AMAZING!! Really, all the food was impeccable, from the focaccia to our mains. Super pleased and the next time I’m in town, I will most definitely be coming back!!“

The manager Timothy Fisher stopped by our table twice to check on us and as we were on our way out, he ran up the stairs to hand us my girlfriend's purse which was left at our table. “I used Johnny Paisano’s to cater a holiday party. I had an amazing experience from the very beginning. I spoke with Christine who helped me place the order, and helped me to decide the best options for my menu. One of my options was a prime rib, where I received a phone call from Johnny himself to help me figure out the best way to prepare it for the party. When it was time to retrieve the food on the day of the party, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Johnny once again came out and was talking with me about the food. I appreciate this aspect of a business, it makes you feel like you’re in a friendly environment, rather than a sterile kitchen. The food quality was amazing. Every platter was delicious, and every guest was happy with how the food turned out. The prime rib was the largest hit, not surprisingly. I couldn’t believe the value of everything as well. “The atmosphere was romantic, the food was divine (we especially loved the swordfish and the wild boar ragu), and the staff were the perfect combination of attentive and discreet so as to allow us to enjoy our dinner and time together with less interruption. “Gran Caffe L’Aquila has a beautiful atmosphere and some genuinely excellent products. The latte was expertly made with gorgeous latte art, and both the coffee and gelato were absolutely delicious. You can tell they take pride in the quality of what they serve.
Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food and drinks. Most of the staff came across as dismissive and unfriendly, which took away from what could have been a wonderful experience.
The only one exception to this was Luca, who was welcoming, professional, genuinely kind, and knowledgeable. He made us feel appreciated as guests and stood out in the best way possible.
At the end of the day, hospitality is about making people feel welcome.
The rest of the team could certainly take note. If the level of service matched the quality of the coffee and gelato, this would easily be a five-star experience.“

We preceded to reminisce about family in Upstate NY,, of course food rolled into the conversation,. That’s how I came across Nonna Lena’s Italian Cuisine. I stopped by the restaurant by myself a couple of later.. Thought I’d get a quick lunch fix. Wrong! My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I the chief my plate of Eggplant Parmesan. What a wonderful freshly made dinner (plus leftovers for 2 extra meals). The staff all were very friendly. Chiefly came out to see how I liked my meal. He shared some details about the newly open restaurant & homemade recipes, etc. He mentioned breakfast was also served and somehow in the conversation he decided to send me home with a sample of sausages & gravy along with my husbands meal. OMGoodness, the next day my breakfast was fantastic. Foodie’s note. Their food is prepared fresh from scratch daily😊.
