What I really wanted to share was that even though the market building where they were located is currently closed due to the fire damage, Lil's has opened up a small location within the front market building right next to Zero Day brewing. Pretzels are back, baby!“
“Nice dinner with family. They were able to accommodate our reservation request to sit in one of the themed booths, which made my preschooler very happy! Service was relatively slow, as it's been every time we go. From seated to bill we were there 2hrs with lengthy wait for each course to arrive.“

In addition to the "standard" pretzel shape, Smittie's offers large pretzel "sticks" and bite-sized as well. (Also miscellaneous items like soda/ non alcoholic drinks).The location is a renovated, roadside type stand, (look for the white "lighthouse" on top) and has very friendly staff. Smittie's is well worth the time to stop in and enjoy a local, traditional treat.Smittie's is in the northern, rolling hills of York County, PA. The road (PA Route 74, just north of Dover, PA) is often used by area residents in the Autumn for good fall foliage viewing. The nearby Gifford Pinchot State Park is worth visiting for pretty views any time of year!NOTE: Parking is a bit tricky at times (just depends on random timing, space for a few cars) and is just off a well paved roadway (PA Route 74), northbound side. (The road is not divided, so you can access the parking lot from southbound or northbound).“
