Vegetarian Restaurants near Grantville

“We came for dinner before heading to the casino. Upon arrival (before 5 PM), we were greeted with friendly smiles. However, our server seemed annoyed that we decided we would be too cold outside and requested to come in. Our server also seemed annoyed when I requested menu accommodations due to specific dietary needs. Lastly, our server was less than attentive. We had to stop another server just to get a drink refill. ***(seemed annoyed could also mean busy, not feeling well or just having an overall bad day, but it shouldn't be shared outwardly to your patrons) While our food was delicious (and my accommodations request was executed perfectly) the atmosphere for a Friday night was not what I had expected. Screaming children and children making puke noises while Daddio sits on his phone was annoying (no fault of the restaurant although I was hoping they might say something to the "parent") We had a delicious meal and most of the service was good. But it was definitely not the first impression I was hoping for.“

“Great food. When they have specials you gotta be quick with them they sell very quick. Best thing is to call ahead to see if they have what you want off the menu or if they have any of the specials left for that day“

“Having birthday dinners at this restaurant is somewhat of a tradition in our family. So for our daughter's 35th we made a reservation for 6. We really like to sit by the windows for the best view of the track, I had requested this on the reservation and we were accommodated. The seating was very comfortable. If you go, don't be in a hurry because service is slow. But we go to bet on the horses and plan to sit there for a while anyway, in fact we were at our table from 6 pm to 9 pm. I can't rave about the food but it wasn't bad either. It's more expensive than what we would pay for similar meals at local restaurants. Unfortunately my son-in-law was starving and they brought him the wrong meal so most of us were done eating by the time this was corrected. But we go more for a fun evening of placing a few $2 bets on horses than the actual meal. We'll go back.“

“The best steak I've had in a long time. The meals were top of the line from the shrimp appetizers all the way to the main meal and dessert.The seasoning and taste of everything we had was delicious. Best creme brulee I have had this far. Cinnamon sugar ice cream yum.The honey butter and rolls so fresh and good.If you're wanting to have the royal treatment and sit down in a nice restaurant with great service I highly recommend the final cut steakhouse at Hollywood casino. Yes it's pricey but so worth a treat or special occasion. ?“

“Much better food and set up than previous restaurant in that space. Has three different restaurants and a bar there. The bar is one if the best in Grantville with a large selection of local and craft beers on tap. Plus they have a pretty good whiskey selection“

“The food at Simply Greek is simply the best! We have never had a meal we didn't love. We go as often as we can. Waiting for the restaurant owner to start a Simply Greek closer to Mechanicsburg so we can eat there every week. . Or every other day ? Simply the best!“

“Let me begin by saying this place is very charming and the staff was incredibly accommodating. My brother and I went here to get food for the whole family since everyone was too tired to go out for dinner. We got to the place at 9:30pm and the general manager Ed didn’t hesitate to take our huge order (he might have even opened up the grill again for some of our orders ) . Not only was the service excellent …the food was undeniably good. We will definitely come back to this place and next time we will be dinning in.“
