“This place shatters the whole image of "hole-in-the-wall" restaurants. I'm generally vegetarian, no dairy or eggs, either and I really enjoyed the samosa and the yellow dal but my wife got some mango chicken and talked me into trying the sauce on some nan (I know I'm not spelling any of this stuff right) and we both loved it so much that we simply had to order some to take back to the hotel with us for later which they not only were happy to prepare without the chicken, insisting on a discounted price for us, but sent us away with a free mango yogurt smoothie as well. The place is only 40 minutes from our house and we didn't even know it existed. It's very makeshift in furnishings, but comfy, cozy, well-lit, and as friendly as the day is long. There's just no downside to the place!“

“I visited here on a Tuesday at 6pm for a work-related and social gathering. The service and food were quite good, yet even on a weekday and being upstairs, the decibel level was rather high dye to it also being a bar. The menu selection was more than adequate and prices reasonable. Street parking can be a challenge, however I found a safe spot about one block away, and parking was free after 5pm on weekdays. The restroom was clean, and I find this important in that if management doesn't prioritize bathrooms, they may not value kitchen cleanliness either, but maybe that's just me. I give it a 4 star and not a 5 due to noise“

“Pizza in the area can be hit or miss but David's is always consistently delicious!! Nice thin crust, cheese has great flavor and the sauce is the perfect blend of savory and sweet. The hoagies are handmade sub rolls and loaded with fresh ingredients. We also enjoy their Stromboli as well. Easy ordering and quick service .. prices are reasonable too. Definitely a must check out joint!“

“The young woman Jill could tell we were newbies. She came around the counter and explained everything to us and even made recommendations. The food was ready quickly and Jill even included some peach cobbler for us to try for being new. The lemonade was just like fair lemonade. The food was above and beyond our expectations. The place was clean and we loved the look. Scott checked on us often and even brought us cups to put sauce in on a tray so we could easily try them all. He also displayed over the top customer service. At the end he brought us boxes to put our left overs in and asked if we would ever return. After we told him we loved it and would tell everybody we know about it and that we would for sure be back in the future he gave us each a coupon for a complimentary sandwich! We live 7.5 hours away and are on vacation. We had some very bad luck recently and some less than pleasant news this morning while on vacation. These guys made our day with their amazing food and exceptional customer service. Best place we have ever been between food, decor, cleanliness, and customer service!“

“Enjoy going to this restaurant very much. It's usually quiet, which is nice. No television, No music. So you can talk with the people you're with.Although there is a buffet, the service is always friendly and homey. The food is good. And while they do not have a bar, you can BYOB.In addition to the buffet, they have an extensive menu from which you can order. The buffet and the menu feature both vegetarian and meat dishes. This is a nice, family-run restaurant. Highly recommended!“

“This first thing you notice in here is the cleanliness. The food is remarkable. I had the stir fry with chicken and the spring rolls. The peanut sauce that comes with the spring rolls is out of this world. Staff members are fast, efficient, and friendly. For someone looking to get into Pho, start here.“

“To place an order, you're better off calling. I hate when you stand at the counter and they leave you waiting for a long time on your break I stood at the counter for 10 minutes and called twice to see how long it would take for them to take an order over the phone and the same people standing in front of you answer the phone at two different counters and yet don't even bother to take your order that you are standing in front of them.“

“This place. Is so good. Tried two very different beers which were both awesome. And the food. The best pulled pork, no bun or additional sauce even needed. So very tasty. I don’t eat fries much, I’m not a potato person, but I even enjoyed the fries! So glad we stumbled upon this place!“

“SUCH FAST SERVICE! Our first time visiting, the location was easy to find and had a parking lot for the shopping center which was great. It was a bit hot inside the restaurant but nothing crazy. When we walked in a nice gentleman helped us figure out what we wanted to have, and before we were even done paying we already had our food. My sandwich wasn't hot but it was warm which was also okay. The cheese fries were super hot and fresh and were amazing. The taste of everything was great and the price is absolutely amazing! Definitely give this place a try you won't regret it!“

“My family loves this place. We come here once to twice a month. It's not a nice looking area but the food is out of this world. It's better than Sawsadee, Chalit's Thai bistro, Sakulnya, etc. We have been to all the Thai in Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill and this one is the best. This is the #1 Asian restaurant in Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg area per Trip Advisor. Saw the article on MSN. Was surprised. Congrats, Bangkok 56!“

“A great time, great food and service. Yin yang martinis are fantastic! With six people we had two burners, so two different cheeses (Quattro fortino and cheddar bourbon bacon) both top of the line! Filet lignin, shrimp and chicken were our favorite meats though we tried duck, pork, salmon and mushroom ravioli, all delicious. Even the salads were great! Nikita our server was fantastic.“

“This is my closest Vietnamese Resturant to me . I went and tried some of the classic dishes such as rice and pho house special . Parking was easy . Service was fast and helpful as well . The food i would give it a 4/5 as it did give me the flavor but feel like missing something . Pricing was also a bit high for standard Vietnamese restaurants in the area considering their portions. Overall i would give 4/5 just from missing out on a little more flavor in their dishes.“

“Stopped here for a late breakfast on a Wednesday. I would estimate the diner was at about 50%. There was no wait to be seated and the server immediately stopped by to ask what I'd like to drink. The coffee was fresh, the creamers were cold, and they even had Splenda. I ordered the corned beef hash with 2 eggs. This came with some toast and potatoes on the side. The food came out quickly and was cooked right. The server frequently came by to ask if I wanted a refill on my coffee. I really appreciate this gesture over the ones who just pour away. Even though it wasn't listed on their door with all the other major brands, they accepted my American Express. Adding some pics of the menu from today.“

“I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. This is a small, cozy and local restaurant. It feels like sitting in someone living room. Make reservations! The food was excellent and the service was amazing. Emailed Ruth for reservations and she was ver responsive even though I missed my original reservation. It was pricey but definitely worth it. Great for a date night. No complaints about my experience! I will come again! Something different that made this place stand out, when they bring you the check it's in a little notebook and you can weite a nice message about your experience. Nice touch. I guess that's why they call it "Note".“

“We recently hosted a semi-private event at Federal Taphouse and the service, food, and atmosphere were all phenomenal. “Want to experience authentic Mexican cuisine without traveling to Mexico? This is the place. Great street style tacos on corn tortillas. So reasonably priced too. I love this place. All the different meats are good but I prefer the chicken and beef. Usually comes with a tasty cooked pepper and all kinds of delicious salsas. If you want authentic tacos, nothing in the area comes close. It is known for great food at a reasonable price. it is casual dining with basic booth seating. “My kids and I usually get Roberto's for movie nights and we all love it. Usually order through Slice app and never any issues with the order accuracy or special notes to accommodate picky eaters. Lobby is usually packed around dinner time, but it is also small. Plenty of seating though! Most recent order my pizzas apparently disappeared, but they immediately remade them and there was minimal wait (plus bonus of being extra hot and fresh). Surprised no offer of discount, free 2 Liter, or anything else, but I also didn't ask/expect/feel entitled to it. Guys working are friendly and took care of the issue immediately. Definitely recommend, pizza and subs are always amazing here!Parking: Few spots out front, but more room to side by dumpster.Wheelchair accessibility: Would be very hard-pressed to maneuver a wheelchair in/out due to very tight lobby.“

“Late to the party with this review, but a couple of weeks back I met my nephew, Daniel, and his girl Lauren, along with Michael and a friend from scouts. We had capped off a scout trip to Gettysburg with a day at Hersheypark, and then we were invited to dine at The Millworks before the ride home.We started with tbe Fried Brussel Sprouts. Memory is a little faded on these, and unfortunately they're not listed on the online menu, and I don't have a completely accurate memory of the ingredients, but it was something like bacon, sliced apples, cranberries, apple cider reduction...whatever it was, man they were awesome, and I'd like them again.I had the 16 Hour Ramen. I really could've done a dozen other things, and would've liked a couple of more appetizers and maybe a pizza or two passed around the table, but I had a long drive home ahead of me and I didn't want to be stuffed. Anyhow, the ramen was fantastic. It had a nice rich broth, and was topped with an egg that was runny on top and fried crispy on the bottom for a really nice blend of textures. It also featured noodles, kimchi, toasted peanuts, watermelon radish, pea shoots, cilantro, amd homemade hot sauce. Anyhow, on top of the rich broth, the dominant flavors here were from the smoked brisket, roasted peanuts, and the kimchi. What an amazing mix of flavors it was, too. Not something I ever would've thought too mix up, but it sure worked. The boys had the House Cheeseburgers, described as; wood grilled cheeseburger, tomato jam, bistro sauce, cooper sharp cheese, lettuce, onion, half sour pickles, on a local brioche bun with house made potato chips. Both elected to top their burgers with bacon and fried egg. From what I saw , the burgers were a perfect medium rare, and Michael, who is a bit of a burger connoisseur, declared his one of the best ever. I did manage to snatch a couple of homemade chips, and they were still warm and crispy, with flavors of sea salt, pepper, and celery seed in the topping.Nephew Daniel had a wood fired pizza with italian sausage and tomato, and topped with fresh arugala. Looked fantastic, and again made me wish we had sampled a couple more, and Lauren enjoyed the Apple Spinach Endive salad, with honeycrisp apple, shaved fennel, gorgonzola, shaved celery, toasted pecans, endive, frisee, and baby spinach, dressed in a hot honey balsamic vinaigrette. Unfortunately I didn't snap a shot of this one, but it too looked excellent.Neat thing about The Millworks is that it is also a functioning art gallery and studio space. The walls are lined with works for sale, and on the second floor, even on a Sunday evening, several artists in residence were working on creating and peddling their wares. If you happen to be in Hersheypark, or Harrisburg or Gettysburg, and you need something a little better than the carny food, The Millworks isn't far off, and the quality makes it well worth the drive. Prices are sort of mid range, with a few higher end items that are reflected in price. But a broad range of sandwiches, salads, and pizzas,(which could feed two, especially with an app or salad, too,)are under are under twenty bucks. Service was prompt and friendly, and it's definitely a welcoming place to come hang out.Oh, and I almost forgot, and I have no review, but there is an on-site brewery as well. Some of the choices were quite interesting. Our hosts for the evening however were non drinkers, as we're my two boy scout guests, and figured I should be also, as I had a three hundred mile ride home scheduled after dinner. But next time, and there will be a next time, I'll sample a couple of those fresh brews, too.“
