“During a recent adventure, we stumbled upon the Carsonville Hotel, a delightful find that we discovered through Facebook. The allure of their seafood Bloody Mary special was too tempting to resist, and it certainly did not disappoint. As we perused the menu, the buffalo chicken nachos caught our eye, and what a fantastic choice they were! Each bite was a perfect harmony of flavors, leaving us thoroughly impressed and eager for more. But the true star of the show was the Thin Mint Cheesecake. It was nothing short of fabulous, a dessert that managed to be both refreshingly minty and decadently creamy all at once. The Carsonville Hotel has etched a special place in our hearts, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. For anyone who finds themselves in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won't regret it!“

“Food, Service, Atmosphere all 5 stars. We have been hearing such good things about the Old Trail Tavern for some time and finally went to try the place out. The decore is really nice, kind of rustic. The food is amazing. I had a Delmonico medium rare and my darling wife had the fish and chips special, since she had steak the night before. They cook the steak over a wood fire and you can taste the wood smoke in every bite. It was done perfect. My wife's fish and chips was as good as I have ever seen it. The fish was flakes with a thin crispy breading and the fries are fresh cut. The service was really great. A gentleman named Charles could not have been more attentive, checking on us numerous times. At the end of the meal Charles tells us they heard it was our first time there and they wanted us to have desserts on the house. I had a chocolate peanut butter pie that would have put a diabetic into a coma and Mrs Snyder got the chocolate lava dessert to go. The price was extremely reasonable and we promised we would be back and would bring friends. If you have not been to the Old Trail Tavern in Liverpool, you are missing out on a wonderful evening of good food and great service. We will be regulars!Tell them Steve and Kathy Snyder sent you.“

“My husband and I came in around 11:30am today. We live about an hour away and we’re on a day trip. We stopped here for lunch and so glad we did! The food was absolutely amazing and so fresh!! I know that seems silly to mention but most of the time these days eating out you’re getting frozen/heated food. And the quality of the food definitely deserves recognition! The service was wonderful!! We 110% would make the drive again just to eat here.“
