This is literally the best chinese place in all of allison park, the family that owns golden star is insanely sweet, and their kids are super nice as well. The food is also absolutely delicious everytime and they have a great selection of dishes!Parking: Great number of spots, restraunt is very accessible!
The food isn’t terrible, but I’ve had way better, and I think there are better options nearby as well. All I tried were the simple pan fried pork dumplings.As I mentioned, the food wasn’t bad per say. They gave me like 7 or so dumplings in an order. The shells were super thick. It was greasy on the outside. However, they were cooked pretty well.On the inside, the meat itself was pretty tasty. Well cooked. Seasoned decently. Me and my family frequent this restaurant because of how awesome the customer service is and my wife loves the bourbon chicken. Which I found out is made fresh pan fried per order. Also the lo mein in any form is amazing. Finish it all with fresh donuts and everyone is happy! Great food and great non rushed service.
