“I purchased a small brown chicken stew with peas and rice to go at the Broad street market. It was the right amount and very delicious. I also bought a beef patty spicy but it wasn't spicy. The service was very friendly. This location is a kiosk inside the market place and parking was difficult to find a spot. I had to loop around three times. When very hungry that's frustrating lol“
“I had the baked potato with the black angus beef. Delicious. Enough for lunch and dinner. Cristal(I think) was my server. She went above and beyond. So sweet . She even helped me to my car since I couldn’t manage the cane, the drink, and the doggie box with the leftover for supper. I caught a glimpse of the salads and they were enormous. Everyone working the front had such happy pleasant tones of voice when speaking, both to customers and to each other. A pleasant place to eat a meal.“

“1000000/10 Would ALWAYS recommend!I am a born Trinidadian, here in the US on an exchange program. I have been STRUGGLING to find tasty, authentic food here. Then after a grueling month, I found Pepper Pot.Firstly, when you walked into the restaurant, YOU SMELL THE FOOD IMMEDIATELY! That is a big deal because it says that they are cooking food on spot, versus cooking earlier and leaving it out.I had the oxtail, rice and plantain. Oxtail was falling off the bone, properly seasoned, and browned to perfection. The white rice was cooked well, not soggy at all. The plantains were a bit half ripe and I prefer ripe plantain but I ended up going back to order another portion because it was still good. The service was IMPECCABLE!! The lady almost brought a tear to my eye because besides the food, I got a taste of our warm Caribbean love and charisma.I thank the owners of Pepper Pot so much and would ALWAYS recommend!“
