“We went here for lunch while being on vacation. We ordered shrimp tempura bento box, General Tso's chicken, Mango Thai chicken, Thai ginger chicken, three rolls which consist of a Philly, spicy salmon, and shrimp w/cucumber and the tempura ice cream. Almost everything we ordered was fresh and very good tasting. The only item that was under whelming was the Miso soup that came with the lunch special. It was more on the bland side compared to everything else we had. Other than that I would highly recommend this place.“

“I’m usually not one to write reviews but hopefully this will save someone time. We came on a Sunday, around 5pm and were only the 2nd family dining in the sushi bar area. It took about 30 minutes just to get one plate of sashimi. Our 2nd sushi roll took about 10 more minutes to come out and then by the time the 3rd roll was ready, our waiter was outside smoking and it just sat there until he finished his smoke break. We were given one napkin and had to ask for chopsticks. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.“

“HOURS NEED UPDATED. Facebook/online/their front door (everywhere) says they are open until 9:30 on Sundays. We went there to order takeout at 8:40 and were told we couldn’t because they supposedly close at 9. We love this place & work late on Sundays so this was really disappointing.“

My first time there they told us that the place across from them had cheaper drinks so we got those and the staff are friendly. I Rated the atmosphere bad because it’s in the middle of A Mall do you really expect atmosphere? The poor person rate was higher because we order a lot“

“It was our firsttime going there and we had the Kanagawa party boat it was fantastic. We called in a to go order and the woman on the phone was wonderful. We didn't have a new menu in the car, so we didn't know about certain changes. And she was able to help us out by getting us the best deal possible.

“We recently visited Taste of Japan on a Saturday afternoon around 3:30 PM and were honestly surprised to find a wait but after dining, we completely understood why! The estimated 30-minute wait flew by, and the experience was well worth it. The hibachi buffet was fantastic, offering fresh ingredients along with some unique options you don’t typically see. The sushi selection and hot bar were both well stocked and absolutely delicious. One of our favorite parts was being able to take individual pieces, which made it easy (and fun!) to try new things we might not normally order. We also loved that all the sauces were conveniently available at the end of the buffet so you could customize everything to your taste. The dessert bar could easily be the star of the show. They offered individual ice cream cups in multiple flavors, novelty ice cream treats, and a variety of bite-sized desserts cakes, puddings, brownies, and more perfectly portioned so you could sample several without feeling overdone. They also had a salads with ginger dressing that we unfortunately missed at first since it was located in the dessert case area, but we’ll definitely remember that for our next visit! The staff was polite, attentive, and quick throughout our time there, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great dining experience, and we can absolutely see why it’s such a popular spot. We’re already looking forward to going back!“

“Akitas Sushi is a very nice and organized Japanese restaurant to enjoy lunch or dinner. The inside is very warm and welcoming. Great customer service and great menu options. They offer other dishes besides Sushi, if you are not into Sushi. They also offer vegetable meal options, if you do not want meat or Sushi. The chicken hibachi was fresh, enjoyable and came in a large serving size. I recommend getting the Tea!“

“Had a great time with my coworkers and boss. Food was good and made to order. I love the yum yum sauce and could have used more. Love the giant fish tank with the huge koi swimming around, they are so relaxing to watch. Was odd to have 2 random people sitting at the table with us. I'm sure it was more awkward for them then our group of 5. I tried to keep them out of my pics but... oh well. Would definitely go back.“
