Passed by all the franchises looking for a great local pizza/sub joint… found it! Great sub and cheese steak. This is what you want in the way of a good sandwich - great bread & good ingredients.
Was just passing through the area on a road trip and decided to swing in since we love a good pizza. The owner was very friendly and instantly made you feel welcome. We ordered a large cheese and they had one in the oven they were making for slices asked to cut on our wait he had that one coming out. We were obviously thrilled with that. We had the most amazing dinner at Gennaro’s! Don’t be fooled by the exterior, the owners are complete gems and were so welcoming even though we showed up at 8:15pm for a late dinner. The pizza was done really quickly and the food was delicious. We will absolutely be back!Kid-friendliness: There was a PacMan machine which the kids loved. Very low key and a great place for a family dinner.
