“My Grandmother and I had stopped here for a meal passing through. We originally didn’t come for food. We came just to feed and change My Son.Upon entering and only stating that we “just needed to use the changing room” Danielle Pointed us in the right direction.The bathrooms were very clean and I was happy that they were. After we got the baby changed, I had to feed, so we popped a squat at one of the tables outside the bathrooms. After sitting down and feeling the great atmosphere, we had quickly decided that we actually WERE going to eat.We told someone and they tended RIGHT to us!!Exceptional Service. They brought us drinks, and menus. There was so much to choose from, so many new things added to the menus!I decided to get the Stuffed French Toast!! Yum!!She got A Slam. Our Food came out Within 10 minutes.DANIELLE was a great server!! I wanted extra cheese on my eggs and when Danielle did her rounds to check on us, she took my plate back and offered to have them remade just the way I Liked it! My Grandma and I give her 5 Stars!!Everything my grandma and I wanted she took care of right away. She was very kind and sweet! “This is a lovely diner at the top of the Mtn in Freeland. We walked in and were seated right away. A lot of breakfast selections to choose from. We had the HeMan breakfast which came with 3 eggs, choice of meat, 2 pancakes, home fries or hash browns, toast, juice and coffee or tea. I ordered it because I like having a variety of foods to eat. I ate as much as I could but did not finish it. It was a lot of food for a very reasonable price and I will get it again because it was extremely tasty! Everyone we came across was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The parking lot isnt very large so try and come at a time that it might not be so crowded.“
“Good food, good price, cannot go wrong. If you're driving by, it's worth a stop. Home style diner feeling. Tried the open face hot roast beef, that was good. Also had jalapeño poppers and unfortunately, they were not cooked and cold. However, I'm not going to hold this against them as i dont think they are using the correct batter, worth a stop for sure. Ignir parking in the truck maintenance lot, dont let it change your opinion to give it a try.Parking: Parking in a trucking mantanance lot is kinda crazy, but it works.Wheelchair accessibility: On ground level, big enough to get in with not much trouble“
“Today I found the best diner. Our server asked questions and asked the chef for details on a dish she wasn’t as familiar with. She was new, but excellent.I had a Pittsburg cod sandwich, fries and coleslaw. Great sandwich and their fries are awesome. Everything was hot.I am really picky about coleslaw and ordered it on the side as it came on the sandwich. I didn’t have high hopes but today I had perfect coleslaw. The exact crisp texture, ratio of tart to sweet, liquid to solid and finely chopped cabbage exists. Never change that recipe. I even took a side home for later.My husband’s burger was big, cooked how he likes and on a Kaiser, not brioche like everyone is doing. He doesn’t like brioche buns so this was a pleasant surprise.Everyone was friendly and the whole vibe was just positive. The diner itself is pretty dated but it’s comfortable and prices are reasonable. They even have a bar so that was nice. Go check it out.“
“Have to say the food was very good. Clam chowder soup is delicious & definitely homemade. Halushki was excellent. My daughter chose the Philly steak and fries and really enjoyed them. My sis had the lentil soup which was thick an very good, with that she also ate the stuffed cabbage w mashed potatoes which apparently was extremely good , since it disappeared off her plate! The place is not glamorous but it is very comfortable & kept clean. Can't say enough great things about the staff. They were warm & welcoming as they greeted all that entered. They were prompt & cordial and extremely friendly. Our waitress Sharon, made us feel like we knew each other for years. She was friendly, funny and very accommodating.“
