“Had dinner there last night. Happy to say that my meal was wonderful. Large portion and just what I felt like eating. Only wish that I had taken home my left over veg. They were the "real" thing. All should go it is the best.”

“Ordered takeout for dinner. The General Tso’s tofu was amazing, the crab rangoon were generously stuffed and they, along with the egg rolls, were fried perfectly. No greasy mess. The only disappointing part is that we didn’t get fortune cookies! Almost deducted a star for that one, but everything is very reasonably priced so I let it slide ;)

“Employees are very nice, I got a Boston Creme and an iced chai latte, both very good for a Dunkin. The shopping plaza has a very interesting layout and the exterior of the stores feel very outdated, otherwise a nice dunkin. I highly recommend it if you want a quick treat or a drink.”

“My friends and I go to karaoke almost every Sunday. We always have a good time?drinks are reasonably priced, and the other patrons are usually super friendly.We love the staff, we love Rick the regular DJ and we never feel unsafe at this bar. The regulars welcome new comers very easily ?✨️? and everyone gets a chance to sing as long as Rick is In charge of the roster.The bartender is a stand up guy too. This passed Sunday, closer to 2am, (6/19) a belligerent drunk started to say all sorts of ugly things about the LGBTQIA+ and black people. As soon as the bartender was made aware, he quickly told that "man" and his friends to get out.The regular DJ, Rick is currently on his vacation and his fill-in apparently shares the opinion of the disgusting bigot, my friends heard him say "I don't care about all that juneteenth stuff, I just don't want *them* near my car."I don't know who this dj thought his audience was, but that kind of comment is not appreciated. I trust the regular staff, and I do hope they hear enough feed back about this, and can set up a new replacement for when their regular DJ is unavailable. :( dunno if I can go to karaoke when Rick isn't there?Happy Juneteenth and Pride Month?✊?? ??️‍⚧️?️‍??✨️”

“First time visit on Saturday . Anastasia and staff were wonderful . We had strawberry French toast , potato pancakes, Florentine eggs Benedict and American and Turkish coffee . What a treat ! Everything was off the charts excellent . Anastasia was a super help to us and her recommendations were perfect . Can’t wait to visit again”

“Atmosphere/Ambience/Attention to detail: Welcoming & beautiful. Linen tablecloths and napkins are classy. Popovers served at the beginning of one’s meal…Classic & Classy. House Manager monitoring the floor speaks of days gone by…unfortunately. A “Fine Dining” establishment should necessarily have such a person present. Food: Good to Very Good. Service: Exceptional on 5/8/25 (Carey ?). Noise Level: Deafening due to vaulted ceiling and tables being so close together. Lacks privacy. You’re part of your neighbor’s conversation whether you want to be…or not. Overall: By far one of, if not The Best Restaurant in the area. If only they could work on the acoustics. Will try different times in the future. *JQ”

“We have ordered pickle hoagie trays before for take out but never stopped in to see everything they had to offer. My daughter and I just stopped in for lunch. Staff was super friendly and we got a few different options to try! Everything was delicious. Philly Dilly, Taco pickle pizza, pickle lemonade and even the cotton candy pickle sample that was given to us to try! I was very uneasy about trying it because I am not very adventurous when it comes to food but it was actually very good. Highly recommend Giovanni's! We can't wait to heat up the pickle soup later to try 😁”

“We finally ordered!!!! Not sure what took us so long! This cafe is such a gem! The atmosphere is so cozy and so cute! Was greeted by such a sweet girl! You really get a feeling of home away from home here. We ordered scrambled egg bowls with sausage and bacon, cheese and on a bed of tater tots. Wow! Absolutely to die for!!! We even met Richard who took the time to graciously explain the history and origin of the restaurant/ menu. The atmosphere was inviting and rich with culture. I would totally recommend Samarkand! The menu made it so hard to decide but the Crab Cakes were the best I’ve ever eaten. The food at the whole table was amazing. Looking forward to dining again when we’re back in town!”
