We visit this location when we need or want pretzels when we are at home and the location near Woodhaven Rd when heading to the shore or the stadiums. I have never experienced rude or inattentive staff. And, similar to another review, we stopped in one day just as they were closing, and they were friendly, and offered us what they had left at the end of the day.“

All of my guests really loved every layer (each one was a different flavor). We had a small issue with the filling but Bredenbeck’s rectified the issue right away and took accountability! “It is hard to articulate the artistry that went into the creation of my very special birthday cake but the Night Kitchen Bakery did it. I had a special birthday this year and some great friends were flying in to help me celebrate. I had traveled with these friends and had many wild experiences, one of which was a very specific picture this fantastic bakery not only replicated flawlessly but made it oh so much better. Yes the cake photo attached is a cake - a DELICIOUS mocha cake that was as good as the artistry was on the outside. If you want a delicious cake, they're the place to go to. “We always use Yum Yum when we want to send a little box of happiness to family and friends. Their donuts are as wonderful to eat as they are to look at. It's a sweet way to say Happy Birthday or a thoughtful pick me up. All of the fillings here at Yum Yum were plentiful and delicious ~ the sugared Lemon was refreshing and light, the Creme Delight was topped with the most delicious chocolate. The Chocolate Thunder was a little disappointing ~ too, too many sprinkles that was a huge distraction from the chocolate icing ~ and this was the only donut that could have definitely used more filling inside. The Raspberry Jelly sugar donut was excellent ~ fresh and packed with lots of jelly, the Peanut Butter Cup was another winner with whipped filling and topped with chocolate and the Boston Cream was even better than expected ~ incredibly smooth custard and filled to the max. The service was outstanding ~ our server was happy to assist us with a courteous attitude and friendly smile.“

“I'm touched by the story behind Yia Yia's Baklava. I went to the store with my boyfriend. We got the 6 original pieces to try. It's nice to have a store dedicated to just selling baklava because it's one of my favorite desserts. The additional flavors are lemon and chocolate hazelnuts. The service was friendly and genuine. The store was spacious and clean. Overall, a good experience. Looking forward to trying their other flavors and maybe run into them at the local farmer's market.“

“Recently order a cake for my daughter’s baby shower. It was beautiful, tasty and moist. Everyone at the shower loved the cake. I got a 3 tier cake. I wanted strawberry with strawberry filling and cream cheese icing. She suggested I do one tier of a different flavor for those who make not like fruit. We went with one tier of chocolate chip. So happy we did. It worked out so well! I gave her 2 photos for inspiration and it turned out so perfect. Highly recommended!“

The espresso is good but the cappuccino is weird; they don't pour the milk through the crema at all, so it's mostly foam on top of a single shot. It can be folded through but I think next time I'd just get an espresso here. I really like that they have reusable cutlery and crockery, and service is brisk even when they're crowded. They also have a bunch of pastries if you're looking to grab and go. No parking lot but free street parking up to two hours. Friendly staff.“

Many of the young members of our family have a number of different food allergies which have limited their ability to enjoy birthdays and celebrations like other kids do. Sweetah’s cakes are so delicious that even the kids in our family without allergies battle for a slice! Also, the cakes are beautifully decorated with intricate designs and even fresh flowers!! There is clearly love in the art that Sweetah’s bake shop creates. “We orderd a very large quantity of heart shaped soft pretzels to give to out of towners staying in Philadelphia for a wedding. It was easy to place the order, the cost was reasonable, the pretzels were ready for pickup as scheduled (and they even offered advice on how to freeze them to keep them fresh for our guests), and most importantly, they tasted exactly the way Philly soft pretzels are supposed to taste. Over by Rillings,, down by Sketcheys etc. Bought dozens of cakes out of the case for many friends for many occasions. Today at Danish Bakers I was charged $2 for writing HAPPY BIRTHDAY. No heads up that a 1 minute service that bakeries have done as a courtesy forever. Just the counter girl writing it. Well at Danish Bakers it is now an up charge of $120.00 an hour, for writing HAPPY BIRTHDAY. All their baked goods are wonderful, so one less star for my first negative yelp“

I worked with Jen to place the order and work on delivery details and she was super responsive and friendly. “As I'm sure many have mentioned, this place is very aesthetic and the atmosphere is nice, including the music. It would surprise you how many places just play any music now - classic steak houses playing mumble rap. Anyway, we got the chicken fricassee, the Shaffle Waffle, a flavored tea, and the Mirage(dessert) and Medovik(dessert). The tea set was very cute, with a tea light warmer underneath, but I wasn't a fan of the tea - my boyfriend ordered some sort of lemongrass tea. The chicken part of the fricassee itself was great, but the rice was dry, almost like it was reheated from the previous day. A slice of bread to wipe up the remainder of the yummy sauce would've been nice. The waffle was also dry - like they made a big batch and just reheated to serve - which is fine when done correctly but in this instance was tough and chewy - maybe cover it so it remains moist? The desserts were okay, nothing memorable but decent. Portion sizes were on the small side but we were still full by the time the meal was done. I wouldn't mind coming here again with my girls for the experience but it won't be my main spot. The vision is there, it just needs some tweaking.Edit:I changed this from 3 to 4 stars because looking back at other reviews, they handle the negatives with grace and do seem to make efforts to rectify things people have had issues with. One person mentioned that they weren't very attentive, but today they were so it seems to me that they do put the effort in to review themselves and make changes.“
