When visiting loved ones in Lancaster, this spot was recommended to me for good food and good vibes. The staff at Amanita truly went above and beyond, and I was happy to have gone twice during my trip. Looking forward to visiting everyone again!

The Shashuka and all the other food they have is indeed fantastic. Also the cafe is good and the service was very nice. We did like the Restaurant a lot. Only downside, the Shakshuka for two came with two slices of bread and any extra slice is another $2 - we order 4 additional. I think a minimum of 2 slices per Person would be fair. Thanks.

A really nice cafe in the heart of Lancaster that is honestly not talked about enough. All of their products are locally sourced and they even have a little merchandise area with medicinal oils, coffee and tea. I really recommend getting the Shakahuka. It’s $15 but it comes with two eggs cooked in this rich spiced tomato sauce, which I would put up there with one of the best, topped with feta cheese and herbs. The hummus it came with was super creamy and fresh. Such an outstanding meal. Prices are little steep, but for the quality, it’s worth it.

Went for a February Saturday morning right when they opened. The staff was friendly and the food and coffee were delicious. We got the shakshouka for 2. Food took about 20 minutes, but that was probably because they were just opening. I would definitely go back. Also great ambiance inside.

Very cute place! Love the vibes and the mushroom supplements you could purchase and add to some coffees, however, we ordered two coffees in house and a bagel and ended up waiting 20 mins for the bagel and when asked about the coffee they said it was still being made, then heard the next three customers who walked in get their coffee right away and we had to go up and ask for it to go since it was now going on 35 mins (I sent a pic of the inside when we sat down at our table to a friend so I had a time stamp from when we sat down to how long till we actually received the item.) And if we didn't have a appointment it honestly wouldn't have been a big deal at all, but didn't like how we got Gass lit and when we finally got our coffee, we had asked for room for cream and sugar and they filled it to the top, and there's no sinks besides the bathrooms to dump some down so we just tossed our out in the nearest outside trash can. Ruined our vibes and went to dunkin donuts right after but, I would still say give this place a chance just if your on a schedule, deff order it to go to avoid what happened to us. And for more clarity we did go right before a rush came through and that's most likely why we slipped through the cracks so plan around their rush hour. Again cute place we were just sad we couldn't truly experience its coffee

First time visitor, but we'll be back for sure - not sure why we waited so long. Such a charming, healing and warm vibe inside. Staff was super friendly. You order at the counter and somewhat self service. Food was amazing. I got the shakshuka, which I make at home all the time, and I can say this one was excellent. I love the detail they put into everything, like a nest of greens in the salad, big toasts, and overall just nice presentation. My wife got a vegan breakfast burrito, which she's had many throughout the city and said this was the best yet! The prices may seem higher for a cafe, but they give you large portions, so well worth it. Only complaint would be salad and bread were a little too salty for me. We will be making this a regular rotation stop for breakfasts.Vegetarian options: My wife is vegan, and there are several, quality and delicious vegetarian and vegan options.Parking: Residential parking. Easy to find something within a block. No charge.

I recently visited Amanita in Lancaster, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a coffee shop setting. The bagel sandwich I ordered was not only delicious but also made with fresh ingredients. The combination of flavors was spot-on, and the portion size was satisfying. Now, let's talk about the chai. Amanita has mastered the art of crafting the perfect chai. It had a rich blend of spices, and the temperature was just right – not too hot, not too cold. It complemented my meal perfectly and added a warm, comforting touch to the overall experience. The staff at Amanita were friendly and provided excellent service. They were attentive without being intrusive, creating a relaxed environment for customers. The attention to detail in both the food and service made my visit memorable. If you're in Lancaster and looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a delicious bagel sandwich and a perfectly brewed chai, Amanita is the place to go. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning for more.Note: This review is based on my personal experience and may vary for others.

What a wonderful place! Very cute vibe, and the lady who helped us with our order was so informative, nice, and precise with the order taking. Loved our food and coffee there and I have a feeling I’ll be back very soon to buy some looseleaf tea!
