Root is great, I like the chill environment, good service, and good vegan food. We were visiting from out of town on a Sunday and arrived just after 2:00. We were welcomed in and never rushed during our visit. We ordered an appetizer to share and each chose an item off of the weekly highlighted menu. We picked the cauliflower appetizer. I had the Nashville and my hubby had the Jamaican bowel. All three were incredible! We were not hustled through our meal; they close at 3:00 on Sundays. We hope to visit again! #Veganuary

So glad this place is still open, and it is unusual to find a bar in most vegan restaurants. One of the original servers is still here and is always the sweetest. Comfort food with some international touches from Mexico, Italy, and India. Beer selection is small and amazing, and they make sure these and the wine and spirits are also vegan. There is a small chill space in back and limited parking behind the building. I wish I had a pub like this in my neighborhood.
