I stumbled upon Mekatos Eatery tucked away in the hidden gem of Southern Market, and let me tell you, it's a culinary treasure waiting to be discovered! Met this family run spot while rolling through Southern Market in Lancaster. Their crispy rice, brisket and homemade hot sauce where simply out of this world. Definitely a must stop spot. Swing by and check them out, grab a couple dishes but don't miss "Desiree's Plate", you will not regret it. Say hi to Ronald and for those of you looking for a good spice ask what the Spice Queens been putting together!

I was walking past this place and the guy offered me a sample of their rice. It's like crack rice! Never had anything like it before--fried rice with fried coconut bits. It was amazing. I ended up getting dinner here and I'm so glad he stopped me and gave me a sample. Their peanut sauce is also wonderfully flavored. Will be back!!
