Had a nice meal with coworkers here! I was impressed with this meal since the first time I came I wasn’t a huge fan of my meal. I’m glad I gave it another try!

I am not a vegan but I came here because of a friend. The food was very good and I would come back. We got the corn cheddar and jalapeno bites as an appetizer. They were a little stodgy. I did like my sandwich though - I don't remember exactly what they called it but it was basically like an eggplant parmesan in homemade pizza dough pita-type bread. It was pretty tasty.

If you're going to pride your menu on being a vegan alternative to regular meals at least be amazing alternatives. Make me think "I can believe this is vegan".They really need to work on their food.Honestly huge drop in quality in the post covid world.

Fantastic fried pickles. Tempura like batter, not greasy, delicious sauces, crispy perfectly seasoned pickles. Whole meal was outstanding. Will definitely be back.

Nice bar for hanging out at. Got some beer and vegan snacks. Much more interesting building inside than it looks from the outside.

So glad this place is still open, and it is unusual to find a bar in most vegan restaurants. One of the original servers is still here and is always the sweetest. Comfort food with some international touches from Mexico, Italy, and India. Beer selection is small and amazing, and they make sure these and the wine and spirits are also vegan. There is a small chill space in back and limited parking behind the building. I wish I had a pub like this in my neighborhood.

Root is great, I like the chill environment, good service, and good vegan food. It can get pretty busy some nights so go early.Vegetarian options: All meals are vegan and therefore vegetarianDietary restrictions: Everything on the menu is Vegan, they don’t serve allergens like meat or dairy and some items are gluten free

I don’t take reviewing a local vegan business this low lightly… but quite possibly one of the worst meals I’ve had at a restaurant. Bland, soupy, weird dishes. Giving vegan food a bad name.Came in during dinner hour on a Friday. Place was empty except a few people at the bar, having a rather vulgar conversation at the bar with an employee that the whole room could hear.Service was OK, but felt forgotten towards the end of the meal.Just all around bad, will not return.

Service was great for how busy the one bartender/server was. Almost half the items on the brunch menu were unavailable at 11:15am on a Sunday. Biscuits and gravy weren't edible. Soggy biscuits, soggy french fries, and gravy that tasted just like plain impossible crumbles with no seasoning other than a lot of salt. Eggplant Parmesan was pretty good in comparison, but just average.
