The Caprese wrap is nowhere near what you'd expect... Caprese is usually basil, tomato, mozzarella, and balsamic... This is feta tomato pesto and eggs and it's gross.. also,,, look at my latte. There's CHUNKS in it and they keep coming up through the straw. Maybe their other items are better. I was excited to try this place but it was just a waste of money...

Hadn't planned on writing a review, but kind of baffled by the service I just got. I am not writing about the food. 1. Ordered cupcakes Thursday for Friday pick-up and got email confirmation I can pick up order Friday. 2. Went Friday to find out bakery was closed due to construction. Website didn't indicate this, and I guess no one monitors orders that come in? Called the bakery, went to a full mailbox so I couldn't leave VM. 3. Wrote an email asking for refund. Didn't hear back. Called Monday at 3pm to see what was up. Woman I spoke to never apologized when I outlined the above. Just frustrated and indignant with me - didn't think of what a pain it would be from the customer perspective. It's just common courtesy, peeps.

(I ordered through DoorDash!) I was sick today and needed a quick pick me up so I tried Scratch Bakes for the first time - it was EXACTLY what I needed. I got the pepper jack tomato soup which was amazing. It hit the spot just right!! I went simple and got a Grilled Cheese to go with it but even that was prepared super well. Paired with an iced latte, I was able to get a delicious comfort meal.I also deliver for doordash occasionally and have had a good experience picking up in the store. The employees were kind and helpful. The atmosphere inside was incredibly calm considering it's right downtown!

I’m vegetarian, and during their lunch rush I ordered a salad with no chicken. When I got back to the office I noticed a few pieces of chicken in it, so I called in and asked if it could be remade (no biggie). Paige went above and beyond to correct the situation by doubling the size of my salad and throwing in a cupcake with a sweet handwritten note. It was so kind and it made my day! :)

I’ve been a fan on Scratch Bakes for over a year, but the atmosphere in there has changed for the worse. I work down the block so I would stop for coffee & cupcakes, sometimes get a breakfast sandwich. This time I decided to try lunch and I instantly regretted it.I ordered the lunch box (full sandwich), but the girl who took my order must’ve misheard me and chose the pick 2, even though I only wanted the sandwich. I questioned why she asked me what side I wanted, but let it go. At the end I was confused at my order (1/2 sandwich & soup) and told the girl who made it that my order was wrong, she did offer to make me the other half of the sandwich but it wasn’t a welcoming offer so I politely declined and told her it’s okay, I want to try the soup ( a lie, it’s mid august, who eats soup in august ?! worst loaded potato soup ever btw 1/10)Even though I paid for the lunchbox $11.50 I got a pick 2 ($10.50)Long story short, the staff could really work on their customer service.LOVE THE CUPCAKES THOUGH !

What a beautiful cafe in the heart of downtown Lancaster. Just a 2min walk from the Imperial and Holiday Inn. There is a beautiful red brick wall interior with modern gold fixtures and accents. A beautiful fiddle leaf fig tree welcomes you at the door. They serve breakfast till 3pm. It's a great place for your kids too. They have a great kids meal with 3 simple but healthy choices. You can get a deli sandwich (fat chunks of deli meat), grilled cheese or PB&J. You get a bunch of sides with it and the chocolate milk (my kids said) is "incredible"!!! For adults, I would recommend the Main Street breakfast burrito! The zesty sauce is amazing!!! The egg and bagel was ok... I would have preferred the bagel to be toasted (didn't ask) and the egg runny (didn't ask). A spicy aoli or even the zesty sauce would have been great on it. It was just too blend. There is construction out front... but it is definitely worth walking around it! It's open and you definitely need to come check it out!

I had my 9 yr old with me and he did not have much to choose from on thr kids menu so he preferred not to eat there I had to take him somewhere else to make sure he ate. He is a picky eater.... my husband and I ordered salads and they were ok.

Really nice staff at this bakery and all of their pastries were laid out with care!! They had really nice clean bathrooms, a nice menu chalkboard and some nice seats to sit down at!! I would love to come back sometime to try their cupcakes!!!

Have been ordering via Doordash from Scratch Bakes for lunch over past few months. Everything has been great! We love the salads, soups and sandwiches that we've gotten. They package everything nicely for delivery and soup is always HOT! I don't recall our order ever missing anything. I'm usually weirded out by chicken, but not so here. The chicken they put on the salad is always nicely diced & tasty, we always order extra chicken for our salads. The deconstructed wedge, asian delight and strawberry fields salads are personal favorites.

I ordered Scratch (Lancaster) for the first time via DoorDash. I've had the Beef Bite before at the Ephrata location and it has always been delicious! Sadly, the bottom of the bread from Scratch (Lancaster) was burnt which made it extremely hard and not appealing. I'm not sure why a food establishment would send out a less than par item knowing it could be reviewed and criticized. I placed my order 2 hours in advance so there was no rush to my order. The flavors were there, but only after the initial burnt taste...

We ordered boxed lunches and cupcakes for a teacher appreciation lunch and had such a good experience! The food was amazing! (Everyone agreed.) The service was excellent (Desiree was wonderful.) Overall we were very pleased and will return!
