“I get the grandma pizzas every week and holy SMOKES…very good quality ingredients, masterfully proportioned cheese and toppings like REAL ITALIANS do…not sloppy with way too much stuff…just exactly right so the crust has some crisp but nothing is dry. The bruschetta has fresh, real, raw garlic in it (which is always a good sign of real Italian food flair!). This is my new place, and they’re gonna have to try real hard to get ridda me!“

“Paparone's is a staple of the community for over 30+ years now that has such a classic home style pizza you can't get enough of. I have been going here since I was a kid, and am glad they are still around today. It's all about the sauce! That is something you just won't find at any other shop around here. Also if you want a vegetarian option, try their Tomato Pie, one of the best I have had in this area. It is hard to find a good pizza shop, the family here is very welcoming and definitely shows their love for feeding Berks with some of the best eats!“

“I've been about 5 times now and I am so happy to have a local, healthy option for breakfast or lunch during the work day, a 5 minute drive from my home! I love all of the gluten free options. They stuff the breakfast sandwich (the sausage is delicious). It's so great to have this option when I am low on healthy food at home or don't want to cook! I always get either a latte or coffee as well. They have wifi and I worked for a few hours there too while enjoying bfast. Highly recommend Fresh Frenchy's :)“

“Should have left this review sooner, but Easter got in the way;) Ordered a Sicilian with xchz & pep, order of fries and hot wings. Didn't realize they closed at 8PM, I had called at 7:35. They said 'no prob!'. I was the last order of the night. They were cleaning up when I arrived and were super welcoming. Tony still had the pie in the oven. I've eaten many Sicilians and Grandmother pies from Bella's over the years. Never did I have a bad pie. This one was no exception. It was beyond delicious. I know people from outside of Berks that make it a point to eat here when they're in the area on business. Always well worth the visit!!! Kudos to the entire staff.“

“Highly recommend this restaurant! It's been a while since I have been in a good Italian restaurant and this one was great. My meal was delicious! Veal Parmesan. My cost for two dinners was about $50 with beers. Depending on what you order, the average cost per person is $15 -$20. We stayed and listened to the band that was playing. I believe they have one band or another scheduled every Saturday night.“

“Thanks to my son, this was our very first time visiting, and it wouldn't be the last. "Oh mami, I smell pizza." LOL, he is such a great boy. So, why, no?! The service is outstanding. “11/18/23 We were in the town of Hamburg perusing the interesting shops and discovered it was 2:30 and we were hungry!! It was my first time in Hamburg (not including Cabellas) and we were looking for a place to sit down and eat. Russo's was right there near the antique shops we were investigating so we went inside. I liked the restaurant it was clean, bright and welcoming. The delicious smell of Italian cooking was pleasant and made me that much more hungry! If you could bottle and sell that aroma you'll be rich! I ordered a medium pizza with sausage. The sausage was sweet sliced Italian sausage and I liked it a lot! The pizza sauce was delicious too! It wasn't super sweet like red top but was sweeter than I usually have. Well I really loved it!! The dough was chewy yet crisp at the bottom and I liked the consistency. The girl who took our order at the register was very sweet, friendly and bubbly. You order at the register and sit where you want- they'll bring the food to the table then you'll clear your table at the end of the meal. It works if you don't have waitress service. Great Choice. The menu is pretty large too. Entrees, sandwiches, etc.“

“This is a "newer" place to our area and it has been great the handful of times we've had it. As a family of four, usually one of us gets a salad, and the rest get pizzas. We've only ever gotten ours to go. It's very open and clean inside. The pizzas have been good- the kids usually get plain cheese- we usually get more creative. I also appreciate that they've been great about doing community days- where a portion of the sales go back to the organization. Thank you!“
