“One of the coolest restaurants I’ve been to in a while. Would have been a total vibe but our waiter very obviously didn’t want to be at work. He rushed us through. No fault to the restaurant. Will def be going back. The food was delish. Get the Brussel Sprout appetizer, you won’t be sorry.“

“This place is AWESOME! The BEST shepperd's pie ever ( made with ? lamb). It was sooooo delicious! The have many draft beer to choose from with excellent prices. The atmosphere there is good, it is relaxing, and cool at the same time! You buy the food, they give you a number and you find your own place to seat. The waitress brings you the food where you are. They brought us the food within 10 mins. The service was great! ? We will come back!? RECOMENDED!“

“This little pub was so authentic and had such a cozy vibe. Small and quaint like you're in the U.K. There absolutely HAS to be a Brit in the kitchen! This was hands down the best fish and chips I've had this side of the pond. I'm a bit of a fish and chips snob and would definitely recommend this place. Also the mushy peas were super good and flavorful. My son had the bangers and mash and it was well prepared as well. We will definitely be back! The service was kind and quick.“

“I took my husband to the tavern for his birthday since we were visiting Strasburg and he loves a good reuben. He had the reuben and I had the Smash burger. We travel and have dined out a lot from fine dining to food trucks and I can definitely give the Spring House Tavern 5 solid stars! We’ve had Primanti Brother’s and didn’t give them 5 stars… Besides the entree, we enjoyed the pretzels and, of course, beer! The waitress was attentive but not hovering, the bartender checked in on our drinks and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable (no sticky floors or crumby tables). It’s a gem in downtown Strasburg and definitely worth a go!“

“I could've sworn I've done this but apparently not. PJs has become one of my favorite restaurants making me wish there was one in Schuylkill County years ago when I use to live there. Foods always delicious and they have great monthly and seasonal specials.Parking: The lots shared with other restaurants but I've always found a spot“

“Small bar that's usually filled with an older crowd. But one of the few places with outside seating which is usually filled with younger people. Drink prices a bit above average. They also have food & a restaurant during certain hours. The main draw is the patio seating.Parking: Huge lot.“

“We love this place! We've had the burgers, cheesesteaks, shrimp, wings, hot dogs, chili dogs, slaw dogs and all the fries (our preference is the fresh cut fries). We haven't had anything we didn't like. We have relocated from Lancaster to Harrisburg and still make the trek back for all of our favorites! It is kind of a hole-in-the-wall sports joint, but the food makes the atmosphere and our drive, worthwhile.“
