“This is a small pub within Dutch Wonderland amusement park. Its uncommon for kids amusement parks to have these, so its mere existence is a win. Whoever set this up knows their beer. Penley's is packed with craft beer from Victory, Lancaster Brewing, and other great breweries. Or if you prefer they have seltzers and smoothies as well. Its a cozy, convenient, and feels like an medieval pub. Draft beers come in sturdy souvenir cup that looks like a old wooden grog cup. It is important to note that you need your drivers license, even if you are old. They are required to scan IDs and can sell four beers per ID per day.“
“Small bar that's usually filled with an older crowd. But one of the few places with outside seating which is usually filled with younger people. Drink prices a bit above average. They also have food & a restaurant during certain hours. The main draw is the patio seating.Parking: Huge lot.“
“I could've sworn I've done this but apparently not. PJs has become one of my favorite restaurants making me wish there was one in Schuylkill County years ago when I use to live there. Foods always delicious and they have great monthly and seasonal specials.Parking: The lots shared with other restaurants but I've always found a spot“
“Got the Rueben sandwich. I normally don't do corned beef. But to my surprise their corned beef was really good! I can't say exactly what I liked about it but the fact that I'm writing a review about it has to mean something?! People that eat Rueben's will definitely enjoy it and anyone wanting to try it for the first time will as well! It's English style so you seat yourself and order everything up at the bar. They bring food to you. It's different but fun.Anytime I go here I've never seen a frowning face.“
“I took my husband to the tavern for his birthday since we were visiting Strasburg and he loves a good reuben. He had the reuben and I had the Smash burger. We travel and have dined out a lot from fine dining to food trucks and I can definitely give the Spring House Tavern 5 solid stars! We’ve had Primanti Brother’s and didn’t give them 5 stars… Besides the entree, we enjoyed the pretzels and, of course, beer! The waitress was attentive but not hovering, the bartender checked in on our drinks and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable (no sticky floors or crumby tables). It’s a gem in downtown Strasburg and definitely worth a go!“
“We love this place! We've had the burgers, cheesesteaks, shrimp, wings, hot dogs, chili dogs, slaw dogs and all the fries (our preference is the fresh cut fries). We haven't had anything we didn't like. We have relocated from Lancaster to Harrisburg and still make the trek back for all of our favorites! It is kind of a hole-in-the-wall sports joint, but the food makes the atmosphere and our drive, worthwhile.“
“Didn't want to cook this evening. Mad Chef was the perfect choice. Excellent drafts tonight including the Pizza Party Italian pilsner, the You Sherbet That fruited sour and the Juice Caboose hazy New England IPA. The food included the Philly Special Pizza and a Pineapple Bourbon Chicken Sandwich special. There was about a 30 minute wait for a table, but given the quality of the food the weight was well worth it.At Mad Chef (similar to many breweries) you need to order both brews and food at the cashier desk, but the food is delivered to the table.“
“Great atmosphere , tasty wings, great drinks . Ordered the bacon cheeseburger along with my son in law and we were both disappointed. The burger was overcooked and dry. There needs to be a sauce on the burger maybe barbecue just saying. A great vibe of a place.“
“This a nice pub at the Crossgates Golf Club in Millersville. The service was great for their only being one server for the entire restaurant that is a sit yourself place. The food portions are massive but also good quality. There is also a nice view of the golf course from the restaurant windows. I was also surprised at the affordability of the food.“
“Not bad for a small town. Wish they had better beer selection but overall not bad. 2nd time here, first time for a birthday party.Vegetarian options: They have a mushroom taco! I couldnt believe itKid-friendliness: Kids menu with a decent size selectionWheelchair accessibility: Very nice long ramp“
“$52 got us Captain & Cokes with double shots, 2 sandwiches with fries & chips. We were in a rush on Valentine's Day, movie theater is next door. Seated quickly. Greeted quickly. Served quickly. Plenty of parking. Good portions. Good food. Good prices. Highly recommend our server Janessa, she was a sweetheart and so accommodating.“
“Super cool local bar! Went for the wing special on Monday night and was immediately transported to London as we sat at the bar. If you like a hot wing that actually tastes good, try the suicide! The fish and chips is top tier too! Came wrapped up in newspaper and everything. 10/10 recommend!“
