“Came in tonight with my wife to have a drink and dinner, after she suggested going after seeing what was offered on the special features for the weekend. Met with fantastic service as usual, we started off with two of the special drinks (she had the Tipsy Reindeer, I had the Nuts and Berries) which were fantastic. Then our Alamo Cannon Balls appetizer came out shortly after, which were also great. After that, our entrees showed up. She had the one meat platter with chicken, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, which she enjoyed as usual. This is where things change: I tried the Beef Ramen bowl from the special features for the weekend. This thing should be on the menu PERMANENTLY. It's that good. A decent solid spice level all the way through, the veggies and beef and noodles and broth were all cooked perfectly, and it had all the right seasonings. When our waitress Sam came out to check on us after our food arrived, I mentioned this to her and she relayed it to the chef, who then came out to say thanks. During a quick chat with Stevie, he told me he's been trying to do things to bring new and better things to the menu. And I have to agree with him, while the menu there isn't bad by any means, it hasn't really changed much, and could do with a few additions to it, such as this Beef Ramen bowl. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner with fantastic service, as usual, and we look forward to coming back again soon!”

“This is my favorite place to eat for cheeseburgers and fries and my daughter she loves the chicken tenders and fries. This place is amazing great food and great service and food is always hot and ready unless you buy hoagies but I give this place a 10/10 bcuz I love there cheeseburgers & fries I’d order from here more than I would any place else for my burgers n fries and when we think about a place to eat this is what my daughter n I always deside on is south side hoagie my fave place! “The meat was all very good, tender and juicy. My family’s only complaints were the price point (but we understand everything is expensive right now) and my Mac and cheese didn’t have any cheese sauce it was macaroni with shredded cheese on top but like I said the brisket on top was very good. Over all I’d say it’s worth a stop if you’re in the area. I’ve also had the pulled pork sandwich at the Huntingdon county fair and sometimes not being in house decreases the quality but it was still very very good pulled pork and wasn’t dry at all. Staff was friendly as well and service was quick to”

“The food is excellent, everything, subs on homemade rolls, excellent cosmos, delicious pizza we like a thin NY style crust. My tastes lend themselves to the toppings. The crust is the vehicle that gets the toppings to my mouth! Their lunch specials are as reasonably priced as it gets. Service is fast and courteous. This place is a best kept secret and in my all time top three pizza shops.”

“This was a nice, quaint restaurant. They serve breakfast all day. They also have a breakfast buffet on Saturdays and Sundays. Next time I will try the buffet, this time I got the bacon cheeseburger with fresh cut fries and mozzarella sticks. The service was fast and friendly. The prices were reasonably priced.”

“The Soups and Toasted cheese are AMAZING! Their sweet treats are so addicting. The pumpkin whoopie pies with cream cheese icing are to die for 🤤 I haven’t tried anything that I haven’t loved from them. Good quality home made food!”

They even offer multiple private suites to rent for families who are visiting from out of town so they can be close to their loved one(s), rather than staying in some hotel further away. It is best to make reservations for the cottages because they are used frequently and this will ensure that they have one available when you plan on visiting.

“I work at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital and this is the brand that they serve in the Eatery. I go to work early on purpose just to get a cup of the Mexican Chiapas coffee. It is the highlight of my work day. I love love love the rich flavor and the aromatic fragrance. It's a little piece of heaven in a cup and when I mix it with the right amount of creamer and splenda, it tastes like hot chocolate coffee. I use french vanilla creamer also and it takes the flavor experience up a few notches. The most beautiful coffee I've tasted so far.”

“Downhill. 1 dressing for 3 salads on a take out order. At 4.00 a gallon…… not worth the turn around. A call would have been appreciated. No more.”

“We went to go get food here like we normally do and it took about 10 or 15 minutes until we got our drinks and it was not busy. Most of the workers were walking in and out of that little area that they get the drinks from and got other people their drink before us and we got there before them. I had to walk up to one of the workers after waiting to tell them that we haven’t got out drinks smhh.”

“Laid back friendly spot to eat. I had the buffet with a burger add on for $2. I thought it was a reasonable price. The burger was average and only comes with tomato and lettuce for free. The saladbar has much to choose from including soups, breads, types of salad like, pasta, potato, and broccoli. There is also a decent dessert bar included.”

“I ordered the six piece chicken dinner I got two legs two thighs a breast and a wing with French fries and four biscuits it was hot and very good I ordered it online and I got it all for $20.00 so it was worth the money”
