“This was our first time here. What a wonderful experience with the servers being so professional and kind. Even had someone come and say Thank You for dining with us. It was more than just a casual gesture. Felt very authentic. Food was wonderful! So so so fresh was the feeling and quality food! It’s always worth spending a bit more when the quality shows it. Didn’t take any photos of the food, but it was very colorful and well presented. We had a variety of appetizers: Bruschetta, Cesar Salad as well as Artichoke Hearts. My friends had a soup and a steak. They loved it. My wife and I shared a pasta primavera. So so full of fresh veggies! Didn’t feel like a sacrifice to be vegetarian at all. I also appreciated the bread with butter and cheese that was served. Highly recommend!”

“We enjoy relaxing in the bar area. Great atmosphere. Attentive service. The drinks are we crafted, always a Warwick Farms on draft. Pizza, awesome. Cacio e pepe, awesome. Love the apple Goat cheese salad, cherry wood bacon is nice in there. Hummus & pita to start every single time. Usually spend 2-3 hours lounging there. Great local place for us.”

“Burgers were good as were the waffle fries. They used fresh mushrooms for their mushroom Swiss burger, which was refreshing to not have canned. Staff was very nice, and the restaurant seemed to be clean and had a very nice atmosphere.”

“Saturday was our first experience at Heirloom and I must say it was delightful. We arrived at our reservation time and the table wasn’t quite ready yet so we went to the back bar to wait. A gentleman was delicately preparing oysters that looked delightful and was very welcoming, friendly and joyful. Later we learned that was the chef. Every staff member was kind and accommodating. The food was prompt, yet similar to works of art, and not only did it look beautiful, it tasted extraordinary. I must say, we plan on returning. Bravo to everyone involved and the talent and ambiance!”

“Went last week and had an amazing experience especially the assistance we received from our waitress and the pastry chef. I had the one of the special entrees of the day- duck breast and since I’m not drinking, their lavender lemonade was both cute and tasty. A little tart, but very lemonadey. My husband got a ton a stuff that I don’t remember, but he enjoyed every drink, appetizer ( it was a tuna bonbon special) and entree. I’ve driven past this place for years, so it was great to finally pop in. Added bonus, located in northwest Philly which is such an amazing part of the city.”

“Really a unique experience. Food was amazing and fresh. Happy to see someone willing to take a risk with their food and not open a restaurant that's just like every other place in the area. There are plenty of pizza places around and they all serve the same restaurant depot food. Steel Penny is top notch!”

“We were there for lunch, loved the food, especially the short rib pizza, and I usually don't eat pizza. My friend thought there was a little too much cheese. Never. I had some sort of crab pasta. It was ok, not loaded with crab like the waiter said. My friend had a salad, no complaints, but the waiter had to be asked to refill our water and tea, and we had to wait to get his attention. It wasn't busy. I loved the tiramisu. The waiter packed up our separate "to go's" nicely. I would definitely go back, lots of interesting things on the menu.”

“From the tasting to after the wedding, Bredenbeck’s was amazing! The cake came out EXACTLY how I expected it to. It was beautiful! And it tasted amazing! All of my guests really loved every layer (each one was a different flavor). We had a small issue with the filling but Bredenbeck’s rectified the issue right away and took accountability! I look forward to visiting them for another cake order in the future!”

“Was debating on this ramen spot and another, so glad we ended up here. My kids and I are huge anime fans and were so surprised by the decor. Different anime on the walls and on the bowls. You're also welcomed by a larger than life Tanjero at the door. There are Mangas that you could read while there. They even had some random free anime phone cases there. Not sure what phones they fit tho.We got their waffles fries, that were fried to the perfect crispiness. Toppings and sauce were delicious. I got the Anime's Modern Noodle and it was so good. Broth was flavorful and spicy. The chasu was very tender. My husband got the Steak Noodle and that was really good too. Steak still had a hint of pink. Daughter got the fried rice and liked it, as did out son who just got ramen and broth. Niece got their crispy chicken Ramen and enjoyed it.Kids were already asking to come back.”
