“Great food and service! This is a nice little restaurant that really helps keep the North Park feel with all of the plants it has around it. Bring drinks if you want; they only have water, root beer, and tea. Cash only but they do have an ATM inside.”
“I got the Crash n Burn chicken sandwich, and it was UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. The chicken was so crisp and so juicy and tender, the sauce was great too, and the chips are great. I’m not crazy on chips but these are the exception. Wow. Please try this, you won’t regret it. ??”
“This place is one of...if not THE BEST restaurant in the area. Food was amazing with so many choices with such great textures and flavors melded together. Service here is impeccable and the ambiance is perfect. We will definitely be back for more if we get a reservation.”
“I grew up in Gibsonia, and moved into Squirrel Hill a decade ago. It makes me so happy to see a place like this open up, and bring a different type of food to the area. I went here with friends tonight, and was so impressed with everything. The service was great, the owner is so sweet, and I can not talk more highly of the food. This is a huge asset to the area and I wish them nothing but success.”
“I come from a Mexican family in California, so when I moved to Pittsburgh, I was deeply disappointed at the lack of good, authentic Mexican food. When I found this place, I rejoiced! The food is amazing: made with the authentic basics in mind, yet refined with originality. It really feels like home in all the best ways.”
“Do yourself a favor and order the potatoes, they are crispy and perfectly seasoned. The bread is amazing as are the other Italian baked goods!Dietary restrictions: There are several baked goods labeled nut-free”
“This place is AMAZING! My mom and I are in town for a college tour, and many people were walking around with the ice cream so I suggested we give it a try. Immediately the two guys in there were delightful and very helpful and cheery. The atmosphere was so fun the moment we walked in. The flavors were amazing and I almost couldn’t choose between the Thin Mint and the Pittsburgh Pride. I ended up going with the latter. It is like brownie/oreo/cookie chunks and butterscotch. There might be another thing added. My mom got the pear flavor. We are both extremely satisfied with our choices. They did say that the flavors change up pretty often - for example, they’re getting ready for Blackberry Lemonade. But Pittsburgh Pride will always be available. So if you’re looking for a cute little dessert place after dinner, this is the place!”
“I had the oyster mushroom sandwich. I felt like they could have added more mushroom because the bun is very thick but it was still delicious. The plantains I could tell were a bit old however. The portion sizes are also a bit small. The sorrel drink I had was on point though. I definitely recommend this place I just think there's opportunity to improve.”
“I just came for the first time with my brother in law, and I was beyond impressed with the food, atmosphere, and customer service! I didn’t make my meat a sandwich which I instantly regretted and they had no problem giving me a bun to make my experience better! They have special sauces at every table and let me tell you— AMAZING! They were friendly, considerate, and anticipated customer needs with skill! Not to mention how quick the food was ready— I was astonished! McDonald’s could never! I’m 10/10 coming back and recommending to all my friends and family! Thank you Mission BBQ for an amazing experience (and dinner!!) (P.S check out the photos of military/first responders on the walls— on the way to the bathroom you’ll see a photo of my brother in law with an aircraft!)”
“A great hidden spot, you might miss it driving past but once you come you’ll wonder why you haven’t tried it. Great seating, even more so now that they added a covered and heated exterior.”
“Steve and I enjoyed our Easter dinner at Senti. Chef Antonio created a very fresh Linguine Con Vongole with rapini and brought back his Pollo Valdastana, which was do flavorful with ham and fontina cheese. We enjoyed our time with Holly at the bar and talking with Franco. We just. love the welcoming atmosphere here.”
“They were super sweet and the music was too loud where I couldn't hear my friend talking across the table and she kindly turned down the music. I would highly recommend this little café!”
“My wife, our son Declan, and myself stopped in for lunch around 1 on a Saturday. Service was great and they were very accommodating to our 9 1/2 month old son, providing a high chair as soon as we were getting seated. The staff was very friendly and engaged us in light conversation. We got a medium pizza with italian sausage that was absolutely amazing and cheese ravioli with meat sauce, also very delicious. The restaurant has a very cozy, traditional feel that we loved. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and mad it was my first time there after living in the area for over 20 years.Kid-friendliness: Very accomodating to our son, giving us plenty of napkins, plates, and some crackers to snack on.”
“Very amazing food, if you are looking for something new or just visiting and want some delicious Lebanese food this is the place to come, the service was amazing and the food was delicious!Parking: Plenty of street parking roughly 2 blocks worth”
“Definitely vegetarian friendly, which is often difficult to find in Pittsburgh. We appreciated the variety of vegetarian options … BBQ Mushroom with Rajas, Buffalo Cauliflower, and Sweet Potato tacos were delicious ?Vegetarian options: Mushroom, Cauliflower, Sweet Potato options for tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, and salads”
“Honestly this is a pricy place, BUT! The food quality is high, and the service is excellent. We celebrated the anniversary here and kept getting surprised from the dishes. Highly recommended wagyu (cook yourself on a salt stone) and the bone marrow.”
“Meat and drinks are on point, and it wasn't too crowded for a Saturday evening. Nice place to go for good barbecue and birthday dinners. The signs inside are also hilarious, would totally come back.”
“Brian was an excellent tour guide and we had a fun time with the group as a whole! We didn't feel rushed and had a decent amount of time to spend at all three breweries.”
“Couldn’t recommend this place enough, and tonight was only my first time there. As a mom of a young kiddo with Celiac, I was so happy by their dedication to keep their gluten free products from cross contamination, from the scoop washing to the glove changing. And the variety of products my daughter was able to get! She has never had a waffle cone in her life and ice cream sandwiches are only from a very very select few prepackaged companies that are impossible to find to begin with and incredibly expensive. I’d much rather spend my money on something local that is such a great company as well!Thank you for creating this, we’ll definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Great options for people with Celiac/gluten intolerance (safe practices with glove switches and utensil washing), dairy free and sugar free options.Kid-friendliness: Just a super fun place for kids!”
“Best Indian restaurant in cranberry, wexford ,Allison park and gibsonia.Very friendly staff also a best option for non onion garlic food you just have to call ahead to make sure they prepare.”
“Hands down the best food and dining experience in Pittsburgh, whether you are vegan or not. Always friendly staff, always great wine, always a delightfully appealing menu. I only wish they were open more throughout the week. Reasonably priced for the high quality of the food.”
“This was my first time eating here with my husband and I must say, we were so impressed. Everything was so amazing from the food to the cocktails to the random little plates they gave you. The porkchop was literally the best I've ever had in my life! All the foods were so inventive and delicious. My husband has the bolognese and it was so tasty! We would gladly love to go back again soon!”
“What started out as a date night spot has turned into a staple for us, and for good reason. The attention to every single detail doesn’t go unnoticed. The food is top notch, every time. The bar, cocktails and wine are thoughtfully (and perfectly) executed. The service and atmosphere are both inviting, professional, light, and fun. Seriously, the best. 10/10 all around :)”
“An excellent Spanish restaurant. Entering inside transports you out of Pittsburgh, vaulted ceilings, beautiful wood finished and hanging legs of pig set the scene. While expensive, the food is creative and delightful.”
“The dining experience was very nice, staff were very attentive. The quality of food was good, my only draw back was the Kofte was dry and a little over cooked. Loved the rice, grape leaves, pita, and marinated red onions.”
“Nice restaurant, good food with a nice size portion. Service was outstanding. We went for lunch. Plenty of parking. Will be going again. Huge selection of lunch specials.”
“This is a must see spot to eat fresh & enjoy great customer service. I’ve personally stopped in just to try one time and keep coming back. Declan is a super cool guy & always interacts with customers and if you’re a regular he’ll generally remember your order. If you ever thought about going , do not hesitate go down there today. Try the pink dragon!”
“Amazing pizza and wonderful staff!! So far, my favorite is the white pizza with sausage. Highly recommend the grandma pie dough. I also really loved the calzone #1 with sopressatta and hot honey. Looking forward to trying more items there. Keep up the good work guys - Bravo! :)Wheelchair accessibility: There is a free parking lot right next to the store. The sidewalk leading to the front door is in good condition.”
“I heard some reviews about this place and had to give it a try. Extremely nice staff, flavorful food made with fresh tasting ingredients. I can tell the owner really cares about the food here it shows. I had the gyro wrap with fries and it was delicious. The house made hot sauce that came with it was awesome and the tzatziki sauce mixed with the lamb was some of the best food I've had. I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be coming back!”

“Had a great dinner here. The boom boom shrimp appetizer is an amazing appetizer. I had the cod imperial, and it was tender and delicious. Do yourself a favor and pay for the upcharge and get the brussel sprouts side. You won't be disappointed. The food is pricy but so is everything now when you go out”
