“We found this oasis by chance between Tube City Cafe and the Viking on a pub crawl. It was cozy and comfortable. We sat at the bar on a quiet afternoon. Service and drinks were good and good and cheap, respectively. I'd go again the next time I'm in the neighborhood.“

“Impressive! I really wanted Falafel so hubby found this gem and ordered takeout. Needless to say we will definitely be back. The falafel was perfect. Pita was huge. “Updated review since coming for dinner on a Sunday night when our other plans fell through, and neither of us wanted to cook. We had a GREAT time sitting at a high top by the bar. I enjoyed my cocktail. The kale salad was delicious and so large we got four servings out of it (one each for dinner, and again with our leftovers). Look at hubby mugging over this enormous tower of food that is the Dante's Beak "handheld" with a Nashville hot chicken thigh. (It is very hot--they're not lying.) And then there were the pumpkin gnudi: so soft, so creamy, so pillowy. Alas, they didn't travel or heat up well, but in the moment, they were heavenly. Prices were fair for service, food, drink, and ambience. Men's room is at the back, women's room is on the righthand side of the dining room. We'll definitely return when we're in Regent Square again.“
“I sometimes have a hard time finding this little neighborhood bar. It's a gem. I feel like it's kind of like a phantom bar that phases in and out of existence, like something out of Brigadoon. It defines the word 'cozy'. The food went from reheated pizza to (now) very respectable bar food. It's always chill here, and the prices are right. Bar staff are consistently friendly.It's good that this place is hard to find. It's for locals, and people that know how to behave in bars. If you can't respect that, you shouldn't go.“

“Wednesday night at Hog Head's Bar for trivia was a blast! We spotted it on Facebook and thought we'd give it a shot. It was so much fun that my group and I have officially declared it a weekly tradition. The categories kept us on our toes, and the music was spot-on. Who knew Wednesdays could be this entertaining? “Excellent!! The ??? Chef is creative and very innovative. They happened to have run out of pita chips for the spinach and artichoke dip the other night. Most places would have just said they were out and and had you choose something else. This guy went the extra mile and made some from from scratch and they did not disappoint! Tons of TVs inside making it a fun place to hang and watch a game. Theres outdoor seating as well with a ton of outdoor heaters. It was about 35 degrees out and we could have sat outside. It's a seat yourself situation. Not bad. The staff wasn't good or bad. Food came out fast and delicious. The place is a little inside so standing in line to order and pay was frustrating. Customers were a bit annoyed. Great beers on tap. Loved the white pizza, nachos and beer flights.“
