Small ma and pop like shop on kennett pike serving pizza and Italian options. Our table tried the calzone, chicken piccata and chicken parm. The plates were a generous amount and the chicken piccata was the perfect balance of lemon- not too much. The chicken parm was a great size and the chicken was super delicious. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves at tavern 52 , management and staff have gone over and above to accommodate our little group! The food and drink specials are what we want and they have made everything right for our group to welcome others. Looking forward to our next visit.

Have been coming here every now and then for over a year and it keeps getting better and better. Would give it 5 stars they are hitting on every cylinder - service, food, beer selection. Pizza was great as was the salad and lasagna. will certainly make tavern 52 my go to weekly place. highly recommended.
