We had a great lunch here en route to Whitetail. Despite being busy, our food came promptly and it was piping hot! We ordered beers, seafood chowder, fish and chips and a couple of burgers. The surly barman grew on us :) Would definitely return for lunch!
Met here for lunch yesterday with two other classmates from The Academy, class of '69....as in 1869.I had the basic burger with fries -one of the best burgers ever and the fries were perfect as well. Another had a salad with grilled chicken which was fine. And lastly, Jubal, the old headmaster's beloved dog (yes, this was his nickname given by an uppity underclassmen from Puerto Rico, by the name of Sisi Girola, had the French Dip Panini which was excellent as well. Fun little tavern, with excellent service! My daughter got the spaghetti, which was very flavorful and the meatball was delicious. The cheese could have been a little more melted, but a huge portion for kids menu. My son got the grilled cheese which was a little plain but he still enjoyed it.
