Another great find along the backroads of Pennsylvania. Nothing fancy but good quality food and a super nice waitress. The atmosphere is what you would expect. Perfect!Stop and eat some lunch while you enjoy watching the birds out the large windows.
Driving back from Pittsburgh, we decided to find a place with some mountain charm and Foot of the Mountain fit the bill and more. Great salads, Roast Beef and gravy, turkey gravy, fries and more. Home made corn fritters were awesome. I had the wings and if you follow me at all you know I try wings EVERYWHERE I go.These wings on the menu were priced at about $1 a wing which to my Baltimore city wallet was suspect. This place checks all the boxes, right off the road, easy access parking. The staff here is super nice & friendly, it's literally at the base of the mountain, I'd imagine it's absolutely gorgeous here during the spring, it's so pretty in the winter time.I came for the breakfast and it was awesome, if you like scrapple I highly recommend it.Everything is reasonably priced here and the quality of the food is awesome
