“After reading other reviews some of these people had quite a different experience then I ever did. I have been coming here for years, during hunting seasons and very much like the food and atmosphere. It is a country bar in the mountains. I was there Saturday with my wife kids and friends and had a great meal with great service. Can't wait to visit again.“
“WOW. You need to try this place. Hamburger steak was so juicy and seasoned perfectly. Broccoli, cheese rice casserole was soo good. We will definitely be back so nice to find a place where everything is home cooked. And chocolate banana poke cake topped the charts.“
“we have not yet stayed the night but if the restaurant is any indication the rooms are fabulous. I personally think the main attraction is the magnificent food. They really put on a great feed. we had seafood the first night. you would have thought you were at the shore. Everything was fresh and well prepared. the second time we went my wife had a grilled chicken salad and I had the baked Haddock. again the food was unsurpassed. we are going back for lunch today. I'm sure I will not be disappointed. if you live even as far away as State College, it is worth the drive.“

“We visit jacksons every time we come to camp ... always great service. A nice selection of PA craft beers and they offer sampler trays . The wings are amazing and a nice selection of different sauce combos . Pizza was great too .. the blue cheese and ranch are made in house .“
