Waited before trying La Pizetta, let them get their legs under them. Had a pepperoni roll and large pizza delivered. the roll was ok the marinara sauce was good.. my pizza again was ok, had good flavor but was soggy especially at the center, the pizza looked like the driver had some issues while driving as a quarter of it had flipped onto itself... will try a slice at the shop in hopes that it is better

Great pizza and friendly staff. This is the real deal. Finally found a solid pizza place.

Easily the best pizza I've had in Pittsburgh! I'm from NY and I've been looking everywhere for the perfect slice. This is it. Ingredients are all made in-house and it shows. We just finished our order and I already can't wait to go back. I don't review much on yelp but you all need to know about this place!!!

nice pizza-place-vibe and people, but the pizza was just typical - with just a BIT little something differentnothing special, nothing terrible. just average

Woah!! This place has a really rare combination of core things going for it in their pizza. Probably a 95/100 score for me.First: the red sauce is unreal. Super fresh, bright, and tangy. If they don't make it in-house with a secret recipe, then I don't know why more pizza places don't use the same sauce. Amazing taste, incredibly refreshing and juicy.Second: the crust is crispy, light, and bubbly. It's delicate but just strong enough to keep everything together. Exactly what you'd want in a good crust. As far as non-pan pizzas go, it's rare to see a perfectly crunchy crust like this so well executed. Those two things combined make for incredible possibilities. This is a pizza that celebrates the sauce and the crust. However, I'd say what kept this place from 100/100: a little too much sauce and cheese (only a little too much, really). It's a hard one to wrangle easily until it cools a bit and the cheese hardens. I'd say the other area of improvement is getting the pepperoni crispy and into little bowls (the best kind). Consider pre-baking the pepperoni slightly so they are dry and ready for the maximum maillard reaction.

Really really good pizza. We stopped in for a few slices of plain. The crust was crispy and the ingredients were fresh. Our kids enjoyed it

Delighted these guys took over the Badamo's space. Badamo's was great for many years, but slipped over past couple of years as far as their standard pizza (not Sicilian or white). La Pizzetta gets a lot right. A tasty, thin crust with good chew, sauce isn't overly sweet, cheese ratio is solid. If there's one complaint is that the pepperoni is sliced somewhat thick. Parking for pickup has always been an issue, so won't dock them for that. But ever since Claudio's on Painters Run closed during the pandemic, we've been looking for a new pizza place. Have tried many with very inconsistent results, but our first pizza from La Pizzetta was everything we could've asked for.

Addictive, high quality, nom nom nom, pizza euphoria, very nice staff, clean, and inviting. One word that you will not be able to use is disappointing. Tasty, very flavorful and mouth watering. Stellar Pizza Shop

Hello fellow Yelpers! New pizza shop in Mt. Lebanon?! Bold. Why? Cause there's like 10,000 pizza shops around here! We've already been back three times so that should say enough. It's tasty New York style pizza that differs itself from the other places around it! The closest competitor we can think of is slice on broadway near south side works. Not sure if the other slices compare since that's the only one we've been to in the chain. They are nice and no frills here. When we first went it was just one lady managing everything, but now the last time we went a week ago she's got some staff now, so we are happy for her! If you're looking for a slice of pizza freshly heated up or out of the oven this is for you! The prices are comparable to other places around the $22 and up range for a whole pie, which seems to be the new norm. Is it cheap? No. Is it expensive? No. Right down the middle. If you're looking for some good thinner crust New York style pizza this is the place to try! Is it perfectly exactly like New York? No but hey it's a Pittsburgh style one and we are happy they are here!! Everyone in our party loves the cheese and sauce, some thought the ham was a little salty, others thought it was perfect. Either way come give it a shot and enjoy the pizza! Thank you so much for reading, stay safe and well out there. Thanks for being...YOU! :)

Having grown up eating @Mineos in Sq hill, I'm pretty much a die hard fan of Mineos. I tried LA Pizzetta last week & absolutely loved it. It has the best sauce and crust I've had, very authentic Italian flavor. I highly recommend the ham & mushroom. Only thing was I like more cheese, so Xtra cheese for me next time. Enjoy. Your gonna love it.

They have pizza by the slice. Pepperoni & Cheese. Which is exactly what I was looking for. Their slices are big enough to feed 2 people. Shop is cute & staff was friendly. Pizza tasted amazing also. Best of all worlds.

We found this nice takeaway pizzeria on the main road near the station. It is clean and tidy, the people at work are kind and smiling. The pizza is really very good, especially the base, tasty and well cooked, it can be enjoyed whole.
