Woah!! This place has a really rare combination of core things going for it in their pizza. Probably a 95/100 score for me.First: the red sauce is unreal. Super fresh, bright, and tangy. If they don't make it in-house with a secret recipe, then I don't know why more pizza places don't use the same sauce. Delighted these guys took over the Badamo's space. Badamo's was great for many years, but slipped over past couple of years as far as their standard pizza (not Sicilian or white). La Pizzetta gets a lot right. A tasty, thin crust with good chew, sauce isn't overly sweet, cheese ratio is solid. If there's one complaint is that the pepperoni is sliced somewhat thick. Easily the best pizza I've had in Pittsburgh! I'm from NY and I've been looking everywhere for the perfect slice. This is it. Ingredients are all made in-house and it shows. We just finished our order and I already can't wait to go back. I don't review much on yelp but you all need to know about this place!!!
