“Ordered takeout over the phone on a Sunday night an hour before closing and that all went smoothly. Staff were friendly and attentive. Full rack of ribs was very generous, very meaty and tender, without being too tender ($28). The sauce seemed to have been added at the end and wasn't really 'integrated' with the ribs, but that was OK with me. Also ordered a half-pound of brisket ($12) and was disappointed. It was basically water boiled, which was absolutely not what I think of as BBQ or how I like it. Not sure if it was a one-off or misunderstanding on my end. Ended up adding it to oxtail soup I had left over from a Taiwanese restaurant earlier in day, which rescued the brisket from being binned. I realized once I stepped inside to pick up the order that I had been here once before ~5+ years ago. I don't think anything inside has changed. :) Being a Sunday night it was super quiet with only a two couples finishing dinner. There was a big TV by the bar if you want to stop by and watch a game with dinner/drinks.”

“The Country Pie Shoppe is the place to go if you're looking for confectionery goodness. I have never been disappointed with a purchase and the only problem I have is that they are so delicious the pies risk not making it to my destination uneaten. For all my special occasions this is my pie destination!”

“This is a private club. Very cheap prices and a nice atmosphere. They finally got rid of one of the worst bartenders I've ever seen. I thought he must have been in the union or something to still have a job there. A lot of good people are members there. Hopefully with a change of bartenders people will come back. Nice club.”

“A very good dish is, the General Tso's Chicken ?, shrimp ? lo mein, ?
a bowl of fresh mixed vegetables and a shrimp roll.
For those of you that prefer a spicy kick to your Tso's chicken, might I recommend the Dragon ? and Phoenix dish.
I will say I've tasted several dishes, normally all delicious, and priced reasonably. I personally will be tasting several more through time.
As far as the service goes, very nice in my experience.
As far as atmosphere it reminds me of if you were to go eat Chinese in the city,
Some holes in the wall ? are recommended and you experience friendliness and good quality food. It's worth it in my opinion. I've been to nice locations without as friendly people or service or quality taste as here.

“I try pizza from all over and I’ve tried nearly all the pizza in our surrounding area. I’m from Connellsville but this place hands down has the best pizza on this side of PA”

“Service was excellent. Very friendly place. Prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of the food you get. I got the 16oz new york strip. My steak was a little under cooked but I was fine with it because I will need to reheat the leftovers later. Will definitely be going back.”

“We come out to eat here more than any of our local restaurants. Twice this week we have been there. My husband ordered the pot roast omelette, both times he had asked for no green peppers and was told no problem but yet still had them all through it. When we told our waitress it just seemed not to be a big deal of hers. This evening alone my silverware was greasy, we ended up having to ask the shift supervisor for a drink refill and she ended up getting our box and check for us, my son's plate had something hard cooked in the scrambled eggs as well. This evening we came in a little after 7. There were still a few tables and someone came in after us. Towards the end it seemed like everyone sat in the back and didn't care about anything. I understand it's almost closing time but still. I was so annoyed with our visit this time. There's no consistency in service sometimes.”

“I think the ice cream was great. Tried the maple walnut. Apple dumpling not so much. The bottom was very undercooked, and when reheated, it wasn't very warm. I recommend at least slicing the apple open, so it folds like an onion. This way, the bottom of the dough will have a chance to cook. And more of the liquid from the apples and whatever else they put inside, some people put butter, we'll have a chance to cook out. Or when cooking the apple dumpling, cook it upside down for about ten fifteen minutes and then flip it back over to finish cooking the rest of the way. The top part of the dumpling in the apple was delicious. It was soft enough to use a plastic spoon to cut, but still crunchy At the same time.”

“Came to visit and see where it all began for Helltown. What a great venue, amazing outdoor area with multiple places to sit, firepits, and enjoyed listening to some music outside. Bartenders were super friendly and beer was amazing of course. Highly recommend stopping by for a visit if you've never been, and if you have....stop again!!”

“Went for the first time yesterday. Service/staff were efficient and nice. Great outdoor dining area. Had my first Vegan pizza and it was very good. My son, who doesn't eat Vegan ate my leftovers the next day (not knowing it was vegan) and said it was the best pizza he ever had. I actually got one piece of leftovers and was so surprised that the leftover pizza was even more flavorful! Highly recommend!”

“I've been here a handful of times or so, they are friendly, the atmosphere is great, the shop is cute and the lotus drinks are AMAZING. I especially recommend the bonfires and flannel lotus drinks, I also can't wait to try the coffee or lattes next. The cookies are good too, I tried a pumpkin cookie that was soft and delicious.”

“I stopped today and saw there was Chocolate Raspberry Truffle made with Oatmilk. I have never had an ice cream made with oatmilk, and it was incredible, especially with all the raspberries in it. My only regret is that I did not go back and get some more to bring home.”
