Have been here quite a few times and never a problem but yesterday wasn’t the greatest. I asked for a smaller portion of their pork and sauerkraut but was told It would cost the same price as a regular portion. Well I did get it and planned to take half of it with me. Needless to say I forgot to take it with me. Had an iced tea to drink and for the size cup you get it sure wasn’t worth the price it cost. Waitress never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. If I would have had to pay for another one I wouldn’t have gotten it anyway. Next time I’ll know better. Order a hamburger and a glass of water

A friend of ours loves this place ,and absolutely raves over one of their items (pot roast or meatloaf or something). We've tried it a few times, and never had a good experience. One that sticks out in my memory was a breakfast of bacon and eggs, and their bacon was barely cooked. No one likes chewy half-raw bacon. I think I got their chicken pot pie once before as well and it was OK. Overall very mediocre restaurant, but it's not like there's a plethora of choice in Myerstown.

Food was absolutely delicious including coffee. I had raisin French toast. Hubby had poached eggs (not many places make it!), bacon and toast. He literally licked his plate! Service was excellent even tho they were very busy. We Will be back.

The birthday cake we ordered far exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely outstanding in both appearance and taste. Jamie was great to work with. Highly recommend!

The service was despicable. I definitely felt like I did not belong, due to the waitress being very rude and fake (I asked for another shake and she side-eyed me and snatched my glass) and the hostess giving me dirty looks throughout my meal. The food was not that great and after the way they treated me I won't be going back. I'm not sure if they were rude because I'm Spanish and darker skinned or not. But that is the vibe they gave off. Beware.

Cake-a-fare did an absolutely wonderful job for our wedding cake! My guests still comment about how delicious it was and many asked where they could get their desserts again. Thank you Jamie and team for the best cake!!!
