“Just had a large pepperoni pie and it was very good. Plenty of pepperoni on it, crust was on the thinner side (that is good in my opinion) and very crispy. Sauce was tasty. Overall a really good experience. I may try the sweet sauce next time.“
“I absolutely think they have the best food. The prices are not bad at all. Now.... I can't even express how awesome their customer service is. If you haven't ate at Pizza Bella's, I'm telling you it's a must try. I even get my delivery orders fast. They always say within the hour and 30 mins later they are at my door. They even give you the courtesy of letting you now that it is on its way.Sorry I can say enough about Pizza Bella. Thank you“
“The family is super nice and down to earth. The Italian dishes are so good. Another awesome family owned business in the 18704. When it's nice out, they have outdoor dining. As you eat outside you can enjoy the beautiful mural that's located across the street at Amy Bezek Photography's studio and art gallery.“
“I absolutely loved the style of the restaurant! Green and gold decor was super cute! The food was absolutely amazing and FRESH! Eric our server was very polite and helpful gave us the full run down on our first time here. 10/10 will be coming back for Mia Via’s food and Eric’s “
“First but definitely not the last time I'll be dining here. The Cheese steaks are phenomenal. The loaded crab fries were equally as good. Everything My party had looked delicious. Pricing is fair for the current environment. Highly recommended. We will be back!!“
“I go for the Veal Francaise. Hubby goes for the Prime Rib Ravioli. Joe was the chef at another establishment where we first tasted his food. When we learned he opened up his own place in Hanover, we followed the food! His foccacia is to die for!!! We always get boxes to take home left overs because the portions are so generous!“
“I'm not long moved up here in Wilkes-Barre and someone introduced me to this restaurant illiano'sThey are kind and courteous to the customers this store is very clean and their food is very good and yes I would recommend illiano's to othery.?❤️“
“I ordered catering a bit in advance and they were very accommodating and responsive to any questions or changes. The food was delivered on time and warm and everyone loved it! I don't live in the area any more but if I did, I'd be here every week! High quality Mexican food ??“
“We visited here on a Saturday evening around 4 pm. I highly recommend reservations, especially on the weekends, as they did fill up pretty quickly. The Chicken marsala I ordered was very good! It came with your choice of pasta, and I chose angel hair. I also enjoyed the personal meat lovers pizza we ordered as an appetizer. My friend loved their Italian wedding soup and eggplant parm. Overall, our experience here was very good, and we would definitely visit again.“
“Great design of an eatery in an old factory brick building. The atmosphere was excellent and unique to the area. The food that our party had was excellent. Nice menu selections, great cocktails, and tasty appetizers. The service was fantastic. Anna was bubbly, knowledgeable and prompt. She made us feel welcome and made a few great suggestions. We will definitely return and I recommend giving it a try if you haven't. The experience was like dining in a piece of local history.Kid-friendliness: It's part museum with waterfall and fountain what kid wouldn't like it.Wheelchair accessibility: The is a low grade ramp and open interior layout. Bathroom stalls are extra large to accommodate a chair.“
“Franco's makes the best pizza in the WB area. I've been a fan of Franco's for years, going way back to when they were still Frank's, further down the street. Wonderful family business that has friendly & hard working staff ready to help, answer questions, and accommodate any special food requests (for allergies & other food sensitivities). I can't recommend Franco's enough - try it & you'll be a repeat customer too.Kid-friendliness: My ten and seven year old nephews love Franco's. The staff are very kid-friendly.“
“Went here for the first time in several years. Food was amazing! My wife had the penne pasta with olive oil and garlic and it was absolutely delicious. I had crab cakes with baked potato and french onion soup. The crab cakes were the best I have ever had. The baked potato was cooked to perfection and the French onion soup was to die for! Our daughter raved about the panko shrimp also. Others in the group that went with us all said the same thing the food was amazing. They even had a flatbread pagach because it was a Friday in Lent. Highly recommend this place. If you haven't been there in several months or longer by all means give them another shot because they are fantastic!“
“Didn't even know this place existed till we drove by over the weekend. So we had to give it a try.First off, the place is absolutely gorgeous and spotless. We started with the brushetta, best I've ever had. The salads that came with our meal were super fresh and crisp. For meals I had the Tour of Italy and my husband had penne with meat sauce. We loved all of it. Will definitely be back to try more as the menu is huge. It's a must try!“
“I was on vacation in Pennsylvania and my cousin Maryanne Bayo recommend this restaurant the food was great and the server Doreen did a good job the atmosphere was nice and they had plenty of parking and the prices were reasonable but it was kind of unusual when they said you could bring your own bottle I never seen that in “
“Me and my family went here the other day and had Maya as our waitress. She was awesome! Super friendly, quick, and efficient with her job! Made us feel very comfortable and like friends to her when we didn't know her at all before we went to eat! Super nice. The food and rest of the staff was also great!“
“I stopped in here for lunch with my coworker at 12:30 pm on a Monday. Was very surprised we were the only people in the place. The staff was super friendly and knew we were there on business and made sure we had everything we needed without bothering us.The decor was very well set up for Valentine's Day with nice table covers. The food was very good with a home town Italian diner feel. I don't expect to be in the area again any time soon but if I am, I will definitely eat here again. Great meatballs?“
“Stopped in on the advice of a fellow traveler on a plane ride from Chicago. The place is clean and the atmosphere at lunch was quite busy. The pizza was delicious!I had meat lovers, the red sauce was really good. My nephew had mild chicken bbq Delicious! My niece had shrimp and sweet peppers and her bus had white pizza! The service was great and attentive You can tell that they use the freshest ingredients and take pride in their work! I would definitely go back and try other menu items!“
“This is the best Italian Restaurant in Luzerne County. Everything is home made. The Veal was excellent and tender. The bread is baked fresh. My fiance ordered penne vodka with chicken which she absolutely loved. We sat in the booth which is where we wanted and the service was incredible and polite. We absolutely loved the food and we will be recommending to friends who visit the area from out of state.“
“Lino’s pizza is a great place with great food, fresh taste, fresh ingredients and always has the best quality every time. I highly recommend because they have a great list of delicious authentic food to choose from on their menu. Definitely the best in town“
“I picked up 12 cuts of Granny's pizza. I had family over for my son's birthday. The pizza was horrible...filled with bottled garlic, hardly any sauce, and cheese. No one wanted to eat it after their first bite. It was thrown into the garbage. I had Granny's pizza from the Pizza bella in plains a few times and it was delicious!Soo disappointed. I do have to say that the wings and round pepperoni pizza was good. Won't be going back.“
“Great food,Very nice and pleasant Waitresses. Would have gave it 5 stars but the owner/manager/cook or whoever he is keeps coming out of the kitchen into the dining room and complaining to the waitress about things constantly. I understand he is running the show but at least do it in the kitchen where people Dining don’t have to listen to it.“
“My Fiancée and I stopped in for a bite to eat, always passed this by on our travels so we decided to give it a shot.Excellent! We ordered a BBQ chicken wrap w/fries and a small cheese steak stuffed pizza w/ sauce on the side the food was excellent and the service was great!Very friendly people!Would definitely recommend!“
“2/7/24 This is the 2nd visit here recently. I came with a party of 2 and a group of 7. Both times the food and service were spot on! Everything was delicious, the service was very attentive and the place was clean! This staff is so much better than what was here over a year ago. That crew was Rock bottom! What a difference a little hustle and hot food can make! Thank you.“
“This place mostly has pizza and subs. The food was really good! The service was top-notch! The atmosphere is lacking as it is an older place. They also don't have a wide variety of condiments available. There is no pickles or garlic (or garlic sauce). But overall good food for a decent price.Vegetarian options: If you get pizza or Subs without meat.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.“
“Haven’t had it in years, got it tonight and it was delicious, very reasonably priced. Thanks so much for making delicious food and not over charging like other pizza places for the same price I got more for my money.Kid-friendliness: The delivery driver was very pleasant also :)“
“Let me say that I had my mothers 85 birthday dinner here, family dinners when they come in, I get my pizza here, they are so friendly and the food so good we even had our engagement party and our wedding here! So is that a fully satisfied customer endorsement or what? Good people and good food! Thank you Leggio’s’sParking: Clean and you get more then enough on your plate“
“Let me say this up front: We went for pizza at the Fort Cafe in Forty Fort and left disappointed. Not because the pizza was bad. Quite the contrary. The 8-cut, Old Forge-style pizza was very tasty, with a baked crust topped with a balanced amount of tangy sauce, chunks of tomato, and cheese. It certainly wasn’t because of the staff. Our server was extremely friendly and delightful, making us feel right at home within 10 seconds with her glowing, warm smile. The reason for our dismay stems from the fact that we didn’t ignore our hankering for pizza and missed out on what appeared to be some amazing dishes. We arrived fairly late on a Friday evening at around 7:40, and were perplexed that – although the restaurant closes at 9 p.m. – we may have missed being served a meal because we arrived after 7:15. Really? All we wanted was to sit, eat some pizza, and leave. However, we completely misjudged our expectations. We were fortunate enough to get a table anyway, and after looking at the menu, realized that Fort Cafe is no mere pizza parlor with an attached bar. Selections such as chicken or veal saltimbocca, scallops, shrimp vodka, baked gnocchi, and other dishes looked exquisitely enticing. Combine that with some wine, and one has an enjoyable experience.Chef Jeff Piazza, who was once the co-owner of fine dining restaurant Gelpiaz in Kingston (now Kevin’s) and the nearby Whitehouse Diner, is at the helm of this tiny, unassuming eatery. He brings with him years of experience, and I’m very much looking forward to returning. Our table afforded me the advantage of peeking into the kitchen, where I was able to see him toss food in a pan over large flames. After glancing at what was eventually being brought out to patrons, I was envious. The meals looked very appealing, and here I was slumming it with only pizza. From what I’ve been told, since the menu consistently changes, checking Facebook for daily posts is recommended. Although the dining room is simple and small, with the tables being very closely arranged, one does not feel cramped. The small venue makes for a comfortable, friendly neighborhood vibe.So check Facebook, make a reservation, and eat delicious pizza only if you must. But I feel I must warn you that you’ll likely miss out on a very splendid dining opportunity if you do.“
“It's my second time picking up pizza from Octagon and both times it was delicious and very inexpensive. Second pizza was half pepperoni and half bacon for all of $13. The only negative thing I can think of is the bacon wasn't well done but then I didn't ask for well done bacon, next time I will and I'll update this when I do.“
“Great service. Love that they have parking. Ordered the blackberry sangria, cork martini and a Pom Cosmo. The sangria was very well balanced and refreshing. The martinis were too sweet for my liking. Shrimp scampi crostini and was delicious. The calamari portion is huge. They were also good. Had a steak special. Could’ve used less blue cheese. The portion was also huge. Steak could’ve used some seasoning. Once I scraped most of the blue cheese off, it was pretty bland. The green beans were cooked perfectly and tasted very fresh. Mashed potatoes were good too. Caramel toffee cheesecake was great. Very rich and creamy.Parking: Parking lot can get tight to get into/out of“
“Dino’s Italian Bistro on Memorial Highway is your one-stop shop that will satisfy your pasta, pizza, and hoagie cravings, plus much more. The establishment is versatile to one’s needs, whether it be a quick piece of lasagna to go, or sit down with family and friends for some pizza in a cozy environment. The staff is pleasant, the restaurant is clean, and the food – at least the pizza – is very good.We arrived during the tail end of a winter storm on a Friday night, so we had the entire dining room to ourselves for most of our visit. We ordered an extra large, News York-style pizza, half with pepperoni and onions, and half with sweet peppers and mushrooms. While waiting for our pizza, we sat down, conversed, and sipped on our fountain sodas. The pizza arrived nice and hot, with plenty of our preferred toppings, each slice evenly cut into large slices, the melted cheese tugging back as we pulled it away from the metal tray and onto our paper plates. The pizza is still as good as I remember it during my trips to their shop at the local mall, which still exists.Dino’s isn’t what I would call a cozy place, but it is comfortable enough, with paintings of what appeared to be Italian landscapes and settings adorning the walls, mixed in with pictures of your standard Italian dishes. In one corner, across the room from a pinball machine, stood a Betty Boop statue holding a tray with a lone goblet. Throughout the bistro, pop music softly played in the background. As I mentioned above, Dino’s has a diverse menu of dishes, with salads and appetizers thrown in the mix. Hours vary, so it may be prudent to call in advance if you’d wish to dine in, or check in after shopping the stores of the strip mall where this place is located.“
“The food was so amazing that I ascended to heaven and went back and when I realized I finnished it I was craving more than I have ever wanted. It made me go insane and had me foam from the mouth by just thinking about it. When I drank the water my sould went out of my body in shear happiness and came back. The service was so amazing that I befriended the entire staff. Thank you for this life changing experience.“
