“Great place for homemade food. We were a large group and were set up in the back dining area. Nice, quite! Waitress did a great job, and service was excellent.I ordered the pastie which came with a salad. Pastie was nice size. Filled with ground meat. Beware is not like the Polish variety.“
“There were 3 of us and we all had something different and we all loved it. The meatballs are absolutely delicious. The only feedback would be is, the baked ziti with meatballs needed a little more sauce. The meatball platter had a great amount of sauce. Will definitely go back again!“
“I like trying new breakfast places, so found this place and stopped in on a whim. The owner was friendly, the place had a great atmosphere, and the food was great! It does have a Mexican vibe to it, but don't let that fool ya! Can't wait to come back for dinner. P.S. ask about their secret menu!“
“Amazing. But make sure you eat outside for the best atmosphere.Great portions. Take out is consistently goodParking: Easy parking if you get there earlier. The place fills up on the weekend nights- so you might need to is the street instead of the lot.“
“I cannot believe for the years my husband and I have been coming here we never left a review! The Cabin staff, food, and atmosphere is top notch and many budget friendly options! Wings are subperb including Mike's Famous sauce! One of our favorite local places to eat for sure! Forever customers!“
“The family is super nice and down to earth. The Italian dishes are so good. Another awesome family owned business in the 18704. When it's nice out, they have outdoor dining. As you eat outside you can enjoy the beautiful mural that's located across the street at Amy Bezek Photography's studio and art gallery.“
“YES. Agreed ..GET ON GRUB HUB! Please ASAP ? ? So it can be delivered ?.. Or kindly hire a reliable delivery driver. I LOVE THEIR CHICKEN & BROCCOLI IN GARLIC OIL- THE LASAGNA IS THE BEST, Chicken cachattori & Garlic knots are fabulous.“
“Fantastic! Idk why it took me so long to finally go there! I'm a local to old forge for 12 years & I wish I found it sooner! Best porkchop I've ever had hands down! Please make the porkchop marsla a main menu item! Also some of the best lamb I ever had! Both were specials but should be on main! Clams were perfect also! & great cocktails! Oh & the deserts where off the chain!!“
“We stopped in about 7:30 for dinner and it was fabulous. The service was excellent despite the lateish hour and the food was fantastic. We had pumpkin ravioli to die for as an appetizer and I had chicken parm that was so tender and flavorful. My side of vodka linguini is a new favorite! So good! Hubby's chicken strips and penne was also great. I also recommend their strawberry salad. Always a great place to eat!“
“Illiano's is by far the best restaurant in the valley. There's something for everyone on the menu. Order the sicilian marinara pizza...thick crust, fresh tomatoes, garlic and plenty of cheese. If you're not happy, it's on you. It's definitely not the food“
“My dad was celebrating his retirement and wanted to have the family together for dinner. He reserved a private room that seats 8. This was around the holidays. They had the table set beautifully with their holiday menus already waiting for us. A few of us tried their holiday cocktails and some stayed with the regular menu but both were delicious. We had a wide range of food choices across the table and everyone had great things to say. When time for dessert, we all opted for something different. The crème brûlée was out of this world along with their espresso martini. It was everything my dad had hoped for!“
“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Pronto! I started with a chocolate martini which was delicious! I got the chicken Pronto, my husband got chicken Dijon, my friend got veal marsala, and the fourth person got fish. All four of us enjoyed our meals very much! That doesn't happen very often! The food came out in just the right amount of time and they were quick to refill what we needed and cleared our dishes promptly. We will definitely be back!“
“We like to try other pizza places in the vicinity, but honestly keep coming back here because nothing compares. Food is consistently amazing. New York style. Favorite is the Shrimp & garlic, which is usually available only during Lent, but we always ask if they have it so I'm sure we've gotten it other times during the year. Added bonus each box has a coupon you can cut out & you get a free plain pizza with 10 coupons. Even without the coupons, this place is deserving of 10 stars. Customer Experience is great too! They're always friendly & kind, even when busy. Been going here about 5-6 years now at least once or more per month. Would recommend 10/10!“
“Great design of an eatery in an old factory brick building. The atmosphere was excellent and unique to the area. The food that our party had was excellent. Nice menu selections, great cocktails, and tasty appetizers. The service was fantastic. Anna was bubbly, knowledgeable and prompt. She made us feel welcome and made a few great suggestions. We will definitely return and I recommend giving it a try if you haven't. The experience was like dining in a piece of local history.Kid-friendliness: It's part museum with waterfall and fountain what kid wouldn't like it.Wheelchair accessibility: The is a low grade ramp and open interior layout. Bathroom stalls are extra large to accommodate a chair.“
“We had a fabulous dining experience! The chicken parmesan was "chef's kiss" with the perfect amount of sauce and pasta. The chicken was moist and tender. The ravioli was classical italian with a perfect red sauce. The atmosphere was busy, with a lot of people coming and going and the wait staff negotiating between them, but it was a Saturday night. The waitress, Desiree, was pleasant and efficient, and checked up on us often, which was appreciated. Solid 5 out of 5. We will return!“
“An older property that appears to have been around for 50+ years but very clean (spotless). We stopped for lunch on the way to visit a relative. The food is excellent and the sauce is the best I ever tasted. When I travel again to the area this will definitely be a stop for lunch or dinner!“
“I go for the Veal Francaise. Hubby goes for the Prime Rib Ravioli. Joe was the chef at another establishment where we first tasted his food. When we learned he opened up his own place in Hanover, we followed the food! His foccacia is to die for!!! We always get boxes to take home left overs because the portions are so generous!“
“If you ever are looking to go for a Santa Brunch look no further! Do not sleep on the opportunity for a festive atmosphere and delicious food. The Santa they also had was amazing. Pizza is excellent. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for a lovely memory!“
“I absolutely loved the style of the restaurant! Green and gold decor was super cute! The food was absolutely amazing and FRESH! Eric our server was very polite and helpful gave us the full run down on our first time here. 10/10 will be coming back for Mia Via’s food and Eric’s “
“I ordered catering a bit in advance and they were very accommodating and responsive to any questions or changes. The food was delivered on time and warm and everyone loved it! I don't live in the area any more but if I did, I'd be here every week! High quality Mexican food ??“
“Ordered 2 hoagies, some chicken bites and the meateor pizza. Everything was delicious!! Highly recommend the red garlic parmesan sauce on the bites and the pizza was . Not to mention we called during busy hours and was told 45 min to an hour for delivery. Food was hot and at our door in 30 min. Get yourself some yummies!!“
“For 12 years, Pazzo has been my all-time, fantastic restaurant find and go-to for a consistent fabulous rotating menu, flawless culinary experience and wonderful staff.I recommend Pazzo to every soul I ever meet because Pazzo is the epitome of what an excellent restaurant truly is; high quality food, high standards of excellence in both the kitchen and at the table, and a casual yet distinguished atmosphere. My last meal, if I could choose, would come from Pazzo. No matter what you order, prepared to be blown away.Dietary restrictions: The kitchen accommodates any requests that I have or from my young daughterParking: Never a problem finding a spotKid-friendliness: My daughter has been eating at Pazzo since shortly after she was born. Loved and adored by all.Wheelchair accessibility: I’m wheelchair bound and they have both booths and tables“
“The tartufo pizza was extraordinary. Delectable crust and a filling of mushrooms and ricotta with just the perfect sprinkling of truffle oil. Can't get better in Italy. Try it with a glass of the new wine on the menu from Montepuciano. Service by Emily was an added bonus She was not only attentive, she was also warm, informative and hospitable.“
“My husband and I went here on Valentine’s Day for the first time and we were absolutely blown away. The service was attentive and fast, food came out perfectly timed (and hot), presentation was excellent. We each had several yummy cocktails (I recommend the Honey, I Do), shared the clams appetizer, and had the Sole Special and the steak and lobster tail special for dinner. I worked in the restaurant industry in fine dining for many years and am usually so disappointed in restaurant experiences that we have mostly stopped going out to eat. Not anymore. We will be back again and again. Thank you for a lovely meal.“
“Went here for the first time in several years. Food was amazing! My wife had the penne pasta with olive oil and garlic and it was absolutely delicious. I had crab cakes with baked potato and french onion soup. The crab cakes were the best I have ever had. The baked potato was cooked to perfection and the French onion soup was to die for! Our daughter raved about the panko shrimp also. Others in the group that went with us all said the same thing the food was amazing. They even had a flatbread pagach because it was a Friday in Lent. Highly recommend this place. If you haven't been there in several months or longer by all means give them another shot because they are fantastic!“
“Carmella's had a stand at Xmas Village by City Hall in Philly and the cookies and pastries were so huge I had to go home and measure it... It was 11" This was only 6 bucks!... I told them they needed to raise their prices! So yummy!“
“stopped by for the 1st time today..everything was very good..staff very friendly..my grandsons 8th Birthday today...Cassie our waitress was very nice..she n her staff came out w canolli for the birthday boy w candle n singing...thank you for a great 1st time visit...“
“I can only tell you about my experience at the bar because I've never sat at a table for dinner. Food is excellent. I had chicken Parm last night which was fantastic. The red sauce is delicious. Not too sweet like some places. Bartender is awesome. Very attentive. Good selection or top shelf bourbon and nice wines. On the downside, it's expensive, and during the week it's pretty dead. Most definitely go there for the food not the bar experience.“
“Didn't even know this place existed till we drove by over the weekend. So we had to give it a try.First off, the place is absolutely gorgeous and spotless. We started with the brushetta, best I've ever had. The salads that came with our meal were super fresh and crisp. For meals I had the Tour of Italy and my husband had penne with meat sauce. We loved all of it. Will definitely be back to try more as the menu is huge. It's a must try!“
“I've lived around the corner for a year, but never tried their place 'til last night. Got a pizza for my upstairs neighbor and myself to split. It's unique, and for 5$, you can't beat it. She and I (mostly me) almost ate the whole 12 cuts too!“
“Napoli's is great especially when you're on a time crunch! They have several different kinds of slices available and service is fast and friendly. The dining area is super clean, and the pizza is great! Perfect place to pop in on lunch break. They have full pies available too but I love being able to just grab slices!“
“My husband and I had a delicious meal last evening. Our server, Dana was fantastic, she was very well appraised on the menu and answered all questions that we asked. I ordered Veal Scallopini, the veal was so tender, and my husband had Mediterranean Haddock, both dishes were a taste treat. A basket of bread came out promptly and I must say the sesame bread sticks were awesome. We chose salad as one of our two choices of sides and it was served cold and crisp. Can't say enough about our dining experience here at the Gramercy.“
“Good food, service and price. Our carry out phone order was professionally taken by someone that knew the menu and asked the right questions. Our order was ready for pick up in twenty-five minutes. It was hot and securely packaged. Highly recommend the Chicken Franchaise, served with soup, veggie and potato. At $20.00 it is very special. Will order again.“
“Pizza is usually pretty consistent and good. Got the grandma pizza and it was really good. Got a few regular slices which were good as well. Regular pizza could use a little more sauce but other wise a really good pizza place in the WB area“
“Stopped in on the advice of a fellow traveler on a plane ride from Chicago. The place is clean and the atmosphere at lunch was quite busy. The pizza was delicious!I had meat lovers, the red sauce was really good. My nephew had mild chicken bbq Delicious! My niece had shrimp and sweet peppers and her bus had white pizza! The service was great and attentive You can tell that they use the freshest ingredients and take pride in their work! I would definitely go back and try other menu items!“
“Hands down one of my favorite places to eat REAL authentic Italian food . Never disappointed when I get my chicken calabrese from here !! Not many pull this flavor off and they can make it without sausage ( I don’t eat pork ) and didn’t make me feel Like they were annoyed .. My husband SWEARS by the Rigatoni and meat sauce and my kids will say they loved everything. So let’s just say we have never been disappointed!! This is your FRIENDLY FAMILY neighborhood restaurant the staff is AWESOME from the host to whomever is cooking your meal you will get a warm hello with that GREAT meal !!!“
“We go to an old forge pizza place every time we are visiting in Wilkes-barre/Scranton. This restaurant is my boyfriend’s favorite. We finished the pizza in the photo between the two of us. I know old forge style pizza isn’t for everyone, but we love it!!“
“Found this restaurant on Google search... I am glad I did cost a little romantic. Judy was our server grat lady....I had the veal meatballs. And the 2nd best clam chowder I've eaten..my wife had the eggplant...top notch...the place has a running brook along the restaurant...and plenty of tv...and to top it of a smoking room with reminded me of the 1970 rooms very cool. Put this place on your foody list“
“Food was excellent, pace of dinner was perfect. Server Sydney was outstanding. She was friendly and very efficient. The only thing I wish restaurants would do is when they read you their specials, they never include the prices. If it's a special you would think that means a special price. And to me that means a lower price.“
“The food was amazing and the family is the most loving and beautiful people I have met. I'm so sad for the father I pray? for the family and I promise I'm coming for that pizza on Friday ?? ?... P.S. the cream of mushroom soup is to die “
“A nice little place that has been in the downtown for close to 20 years. You enter through the bar that is roomy while also having hightop tables. When entering main dining, the first thing we noticed was the piano player, which is a super-cool touch! He played some fun songs, including some of his own, cracked jokes, and also interacted with the crowd while not being intrusive at all. My wife and I each got a martini (Dirty Gin for her and Honey Nut Cheerio for me) and both were delicious. As an appetizer, we got Eggplant Melanzane, which was light, had great flavor, and a delicious vodka sauce. My better half had a Caesar salad with probably the best Caesar dressing we have ever had. I went with the gorgonzola salad that had a nice, tart raspberry vinaigrette. For our entrees, she had the chicken special, which featured thin chicken breast and portobello mushrooms in a port wine sauce, topped with gorgonzola. It was very earthy and deep, a worthy special. I had the Pollo Sambuca, which is the same thin chicken breast with shrimp and mushrooms in a creamy sambuca sauce. It was very flavorful and slightly sweet. The anise is there, but not distracting. This was a solid meal! Our server, Thellenza, was attentive and informative. She made sure we understood all of the specials and took care of anything we asked. The rest of the staff is also helpful, too, and we were never in need of anything for long at all. The adult beverages that we enjoyed were definitely tasty, we just wish they had more of a wine and beer selection. Food: 9 Service: 10 Atmosphere: 10 Adult Drink Selection: 8 Overall: 9.25“
“We haven’t been there in a while but I have to say tonight’s meals were excellent! As soon as you walk in you smell the aroma of homemade sauce! Had the polenta, always great and portion is crazy. Husband had chicken parm!! Portion was Huge! Other couple had chicken franchaise and ricotta cavatelli w/ vodka sauce! Yummy all the way around and we all left full and happy with some leftovers! Will be back!“
“having not been home in over a year+, my craving for old forge-fluffy, crispy, cheesy, packed with onions pizza was very intense! Honestly, I had spend the 4hr drive thinking up my Norm's order, only to discover they were now closed on Sundays-woe was me- then my mom suggested trying a new spot she discovered....IIIGuys- hesitant, because we only had the opportunity to dine out once before heading back to MD- we ordered a full try & a bucket of wings- hoping for the best.... the best is what we got; definitely reconsidering my top favorite places after having their LARGE slices- so fluffy, warm dense buttery crust-with just the right amount of crispy- packed with sauce, onions, and cheese- one slice was a hearty meal- quality eats- super cheap compared to competitors- and higher quality- will definitely be returning!“
“Me and my husband have been going there for about 2 to 3 years 2 nights a week every week, sometimes a 3 rd visit for oysters on Wednesdays , the staff is amazing, most became our friends, the food is amazing , the atmosphere, we go out for amazing food and drinks, lots of laughs meet new friends, we enjoy our nights out.“
“Always delicious! After not visiting this treasure for a few years I was in the neighborhood and couldn’t pass up the opportunity. Colarusso’s did not disappoint. The pizza with the special cheese was as good as always, the vodka shrimp pasta special was just that, so special it was insanely delicious! Service efficient and personalized. thank you for not changing what I have missed!!! Until next time!!!!“
“Great quality of food with big portion sizes. Definitely well worth the money and will be visiting frequently. They have quite a bit to choose from, their tacos are fabulous, their calzones are amazing and their prices are some of the best in the city!“
“I travel for a living (Airline pilot). I’m always looking for a good meal and da Vinci pizza on the Square hit the spot. I got the Stromboli and a slice of pizza. Being from South Carolina it took them a while to understand me, but they were very friendly and finally figured out my drawl. I went straight from the hungry phase to stuffed pig phase and it was glorious. Highly recommended“
“Finally got around to trying both their square and round pizza since it's only $10 for a 16-in. The round has very thin crust which I personally like. I'm not a pizza professor so I can't tell you what kind of cheese or whatever may have gone into the ingredients to give you an idea of what the outcome is but I thought it was good. The slices are definitely not as hefty as you would find at maybe Napoli's or in the Wilkes-Barre area Nello's to give an idea. But for $10 I would not pass this up. As for the square variety again not a pizza professor but it's comparable to most everything else around here. I would say at least in the square tray that I got the crust seemed a little too hard for my liking. But again no joke for a full tray for $10.“
