“Frozen pastries? I've been coming to Le Petit Mitron since Rick Nichols wrote his 2001 review praising them to the skies and I can vouch for the fact that they, too, froze their pastries. I can also vouch for the fact that Angela and Andrew have made spectacular use of the baton Patrick and Isabelle passed to them, adding canneles to the mix. I can also vouch for the fact that their pastries (like LPM's) freeze well. I buy in bulk and always buy over 100 dollars worth on every visit, as many pastries as will fit in my freezer. If it's a nice day I'll have a few to eat outside with my daughter with a cup of their excellent Herman's coffee.“

“One of the only places open Sunday in the pretty little town of Narberth was an enjoyable lunch. We decided to try the unique steak and cheese eggrolls with spiced ketchup. Pleasantly surprised they're juicy, full and flavorful! Also being a cool day the french onion soup was a nice warmer. The food didn't take long though it was already getting busy at noon. The waitress was very nice and I've no doubt this is a crowded local hangout on weekends. Honestly the ambiance is dark and dingy yet interesting. It's a small cramped space but the pub has all the original beautiful wood of olde. I imagine the bar and booths may be a 100 year old tavern which was part of a corner inn; so reminiscent of a London pub. Although I've been unable to find the history of its origin i hope it remains the town staple. The walls and lighting could just use a little update.“
