Really should come down and talk to Peggy she worked at the May‘s donuts for many years downtown New Castle it was on E. Washington St. she made me a fresh pot of coffee asked me if I had the time to wait for a fresh pot of coffee and I did so we chatted a while did not get a donut because I’m not really much of a donut eater The coffee was good
May's Donuts are one of the oldest surviving traditions in the area. So many of us grew up enjoying these wonderful treats and compare every other donuts to these. My favorite is the maple-iced, cream filled ones, but all are so good.

We have decided to try different donut places in the area and added May's to list a few weeks ago. Thankfully their New Castle location is near a relatives house. My parents were driving past today so stopped to get me a dozen. I can't speak of the actual bakery, but the donuts that they brought me had a great variety and tasted like homemade.
