We have decided to try different donut places in the area and added May's to list a few weeks ago. Thankfully their New Castle location is near a relatives house. My parents were driving past today so stopped to get me a dozen. I can't speak of the actual bakery, but the donuts that they brought me had a great variety and tasted like homemade. Not bakery homemade, but like in a home kitchen, made with lots of love homemade. I loved that they were generous with their filling, icing and other toppings. I also like that they have been around for so many years and are a staple of the community!

Really should come down and talk to Peggy she worked at the May‘s donuts for many years downtown New Castle it was on E. Washington St. she made me a fresh pot of coffee asked me if I had the time to wait for a fresh pot of coffee and I did so we chatted a while did not get a donut because I’m not really much of a donut eater The coffee was good

Donuts were good, but customer service was terrible. The lady behind the counter was rude and acted as if we were wasting her time. We were visiting from out of state and definitely will not go back to this location again when we come back. JoNell Lutes
