“Went there last week. Prices were cheap for what you get and will get you full. Our food came in around 10 minutes and was hot. I recommend the Pizza Hoagie for anybody coming here. There is biking parking in the front, for anybody wondering.”

“It's a walk up window service ice cream shop. I know the owner, he is a top quality guy. The ice cream is excellent and as a result so are the milkshakes. My wife likes the giant snowballs, they have a literal wall of flavors to choose from. Old school candy, colorful store front, and they take credit cards/tap/apple pay.”

“Small Town Sweets by Desiree, is a Local owned and operated bakery in the Stewartstown area. The owner is always very friendly and helpful. Her bakery is truly a slice of heaven and all of the pastries, cakes, and treats that look like a work of art, are beautiful and delicious.She has been incredibly accommodating from the beginning. Even with having Celiacs Disease, she has gone above and beyond with recommendations, suggestions, and being wholly receptive to going the extra mile to ensure we can all equally enjoy delicious treats. What's even better is a few years ago when inquiring with Desiree, she had informed me that Macaroons are made with Almond Flour. Which was a fact that I have not previously been privy of, but thanks to her knowledge, I now dream about her Macaroons and other delicious treats night and day! :)Small Town Sweets hands down not only has that homemade with love but her passion and gift so obviously shines thru. Her macaroons are to die for! They are decadent whilst maintaining the perfect balance of a fluffy texture and equal parts chewy goodness! It's like Self-Love That Comes In A Box.If you love sweet treats, that are out of this world, I definitely recommend that you need to visit her Bakery!”

Last time a great employee named Chase (towards the end of the shift no less) went the extra mile and wiped down all the drinks with napkins. That extra effort was really appreciated. “rode our motorcycle down from York PA last night for a nice small meal. Wife had the BBQ flat bread Pizza and I have a Quesadilla and a beer each. Service was spot on as we sat at the high top tables. Server (she) was amazing and we left a 40% tip. Grew up in Freeland just down the road and always stop here when we can.”

“Jalapenos Mexican Grill is a surprisingly pleasant discovery in the area. The food is great depending on what you like. I think the burritos are the best choice I've made so far. I typically order with extra meat to fill it out fat! The chimichangas are likely good for those who prefer them, but I wasn't a fan of the fried taste. My son likes the tacos, but I think they're a little pricey and not loaded with all the things I would like. I have not yet tried the Peruvian specialties, but I hear they're great. The service is great - not perfect - but they make every attempt to serve you well. I had a problem with my order - once - and they were eager to correct it at no charge. Store is immaculately clean which tells me they definitely focus on all of the details that make for a quality establishment all around. Go get you some!!!”

The subs we ordered were over the top, full of meat, and very flavorful, especially with the smoked bacon added.We also ordered the fried mushrooms, originally thinking they were expensive, but once we received the order, the order was more family sized, and the marana sauce served with it was very flavorful.I highly recommend thus place”

“Hands down the best ice cream/coffee shop! Their ice cream flavors are unique, well executed, and satisfying. They add new flavors periodically, always offering vegan options as well. My favorite is their banana nilla flavor, as well as the black raspberry and teaberry. Their coffee ice cream legitimately tastes and smells like a delicious cup of their coffee. The staff is always friendly and they have preserved that historical building so beautifully while also bringing it new life. This is a place I find myself wanting to spend some time just relaxing, too. We need more combination coffee shops and ice cream shops in the world!”

“The service was attentive and excellent.I loved the bench that had a truck door as the back. It is a small, intimate bar and restaurant. The prices are reasonable. I saw they have wings on the menu, so I will go back so my husband can try their wings.”
