“This place is a hidden gem. Surprisingly good food (think high end diner food and breakfast all day). An acquaintance mentioned how good the seafood was here so I checked it out....It's not Costa's or Bill's Terrace Inn, but boy for what it is, those were some pretty darn good scallops. Very family friendly. Nice place, we will visit again.”

“Jalapenos Mexican Grill is a surprisingly pleasant discovery in the area. The food is great depending on what you like. I think the burritos are the best choice I've made so far. I typically order with extra meat to fill it out fat! The chimichangas are likely good for those who prefer them, but I wasn't a fan of the fried taste. My son likes the tacos, but I think they're a little pricey and not loaded with all the things I would like. I have not yet tried the Peruvian specialties, but I hear they're great. The service is great - not perfect - but they make every attempt to serve you well. I had a problem with my order - once - and they were eager to correct it at no charge. Store is immaculately clean which tells me they definitely focus on all of the details that make for a quality establishment all around. Go get you some!!!”

“I can't speak to new china as a sit down restaurant but for takeout 5/5. Been ordering from new china for a while. Probably about 10 times in 3 years now. As far as the quality compared to the other 3 American Asian restaurants in shrewsbury, they are always the best.The meat is better compared to other restaurants, especially the chicken. Other places the "chicken" was mostly breading and soggy. New China has tender chicken, food is always fresh and hot when we pick up, order is always correct, and the prices are fair for fairly large portions. Veggies are always steamed or sautéed to perfection. They are nice on the phone.”

“We moved into our home going on 3 years ago and as we tried different options to find a favorite pizza place, Bubba D's Shrewsbury location was the obvious winner. We've been ordering exclusively from them ever since! We have not eaten in but we have done both take out and delivery. Both these options we have had exclusively awesome experiences with. Now this place does get busy especially on the weekend evenings but even with that factor, I don't think we've ever ordered and not had our food within 45 minutes. Plus we're 10 minutes away. The fact that the food is always blistering, burn your mouth hot like it just came out of the oven is crazy to us but the quality is evident and the food is just great! Take out is just as easy, the staff is always friendly and pickup time is always so quick! Definitely try this place!”
