“My wife and I consider ourselves foodies.. We often find ourselves disappointed when visiting restaurants in Pittsburgh. However, this was not the case when visiting Jillians. We were more than impressed. Jillian's can compete with some of the best restaurants in Shadyside and downtown Pittsburgh. The menu was exceptional. The dishes were creative, and the quality of ingredients was impressive. Our server (Jillian) was authentic, pleasant, charming, and informative. It is refreshing to have a dining experience like this. This place is a diamond in the rough. We will be recommending this to our family and friends.Parking: We had no problem parking on a Thursday.”
“Do yourself a favor and visit on Saturday - the birria is beyond delicious, hands down my favorite menu protein! Taqueria El Pastorcito is consistently a great meal and experience.”
“Atmosphere is great. The food was good. The place was jumping with electricityWheelchair accessibility: There us accessibility. However, when crowded maneuvering will be difficult”
“Ended up in this small town outside of Pittsburgh for a concert im working at and was looking for breakfast and stumbled upon this place. Was greeted and sat down immediately by a very nice young lady. Coffee was hot and tasty, and I decided to order a standard breakfast plate (Eggs, Sausage, Home fries and toast.) I opted for the Syrian bread toast, which I've never had but wanted to try. You can tell this a family owned business and the clentel feel like regulars. Food came out and to my surprise the sausage were patties and they were delicious, also the home fries were cooked well with crispy outside and soft inside. The Syrian toast was excellent and with the coffee it only cost me about $12 which these days is a bargain.Great good, cool vibe, and excellent service. Thanks Eazers!”
“I wound up going here with a friend and enjoyed it. We went on a Friday after work, so it became very busy, but the staff couldn't have been friendlier. I didn't eat, but they seem to have a decent sized food menu with the kind of food you'd expect at a brewery (pizza, sandwiches, etc.), and they also seem to have regular specials such as smoked chicken night. They appear to have activities pretty regularly such as music trivia night, so that helps add a little fun into your evening out. They have a pretty nice list of draft options and they also have a decent sized cooler with 6-packs to take with you. Their Facebook page does a solid job on advertising specials and events, so they do give a heads up on the happenings.”
“How come I am.only finding out about this place now??? We are moving and needed a quick lunch. The meatball bun was SPECTACULAR! The salads big and very good! Thank you for making our afternoon of packing easier!”
“Was a little disappointed that there were no options for kids. In order to get a pizza for my son, we had to select a specialty pizza from their menu, ask to remove all ingredients, and then get charged extra to add pepperoni. They only come in one size, $16 for a meal for an 8 year old is a little steep. Of all the things we ordered, the Ricotta Arugula was a definite front runner. We miss the pate from the old charcuterie board. Will return to continue exploring the menu.ETA: what an incredibly fast & thoughtful reply from the owner that I did not expect. We are continuously impressed with all of the businesses in New Kensington & appreciate feeling valued as customers.”
“Absolutely the best wings and white pizza!!!! Seriously, none comes close to how good the wings and white pizza is here!!!! You definitely need to try and trust me you will never want to go anywhere else again ?”
“Love these funky beers. Brett/wild/mixed fermentation brews are my go to and SR specializes in them. Had one outstanding beer and one very good one during my visit. Have had many SR brews before this first visit to a SR Taproom. So glad that the in-person experience was so satisfying. Very friendly and helpful staff. Welcoming patrons. Excellent food. The area is a little depressed but the "downtown" area was quaint. Enjoyed the visit very much.”
“Got the Buffalo steak sub. If you like spicy, they do it right. Most places make buffalo chicken or steak subs with barely any spice or use basic hot sauce, this place makes it hot.”
“Stopped by here on a whim and didn't disappoint. Staff are inviting, funny, and friendly. The wings are NOT fried and are essentially oven baked in a pizza oven. The char is perfect on them and cooked nicely. French fries are fresh cut and not frozen from a bag. Charge you a $1 for dipping sauce for wings which was fine because it's a large cup and not skimpy. I got Genetal Jake's and Origjal hot. Flavor of both was delicious. Next time I'll get a little bit hotter as their pretty mild, at least to me. General Jake's was good, seems like it may have a soy sauce base? I personally like soy sauce so NBD. They do have wing night on Tues with .75 bone in wings. Also there's 8 beer coolers to choose from if your thirsty and 2 on tap. All in all, enjoyed all of it.”
“Placed a large takeout order recently . The service was friendly and order was totally correct. No mix ups at all. Food was very good. Highly recommended. I thought the prices were very fair too!”
“Omg absolutely amazing staff could not do enough for us also food was brilliant. We felt like we was welcome by everyone. Would highly recommend this place and and we will definitely be back. There was 10 of us and no issues at all.”
“Good food, nice staff. Drive thru was busy. I went in to place and get my order. Recommend this place.Parking: Kind of dangerous to exit this place. Hard to see any traffic coming.”
“A definite sleeper spot with incredible food and a cozy atmosphere. Try the pasta, Where are you gonna find an authentic cheese wheel? ? drinks top notch and the service is on point!”
