“It was a nice little place. I dont do large crowds and this place definitely isnt big enough to get giant crowds, tho I could see it getting packed. Bartender Kelly was fantastic, talkative & funny. She's a very sweet lady. The crowd was small, Met a few nice ppl and Kelly had my back when sketchy men approached me. I'd def go back and reccomend to those looking for a soft non wild crowd to just socialize. Thanks for the great experience on my 1st time out alone and 1st out in years!!“

“We stopped for dinner 430ish on a Friday, the place was very clean and friendly. The menu was a specialized menu with a bunch of customer recommended #1s, it was very hard to choose what meals we would be selecting off the menu due to the whole menu was packed with excellent dinner choices. I settled for the Meatloaf special off the house special board (Amazing), and my wife chose the Chicken Picata (Amazing), these are two of most recommended dinner choices by the house and a few friends of ours. We both ordered the House Merlot with dinner which was a good choice on our part (perfect) along with the wine the house places a large flip top bottle of ice cold water on your table for you to drink at your will. Paired with our meals were a side of mashed potatoes and cooked carrots with a side salad (all were perfect). If all of this amazing meal wasn't enough, we had to order the Zattola homemade ice cream over the house made brownie for dessert... everything was way to good to not finish... We left this place absolutely stuffed, and pleasantly pleased with our experience... one side note I would have to say if you chose to go there, please have a conversation with your servers and staff, we spoke to an older gentlemen who I still don't believe he is in his 70s, he was one the most kind, and personable staff I've ever encountered at a restaurant, he made us feel like family and like he knew us for ever, he stated how the food is prepared and the history of the recipes, you could tell he absolutely loves this place along with the owners and he firmly believes in the quality this place provides. The food was definitely enough for us to go back, but just having the small interactions with the gentleman makes me feel that we will absolutely go back... Im sure anyone who has been to this place and has interacted with this gentlemen could probably attest to what I'm saying, as he spoke to everyone... the world needs more people like him in it!!! Well done Zattolas well done!!!“

“I've lived near here for 9 years and finally made it to this place. A great spot in Aspinwall. We were able to get a reservation with short notice on a Friday night. Ambiance here is really nice, most of the dining area is outdoors (watch out for lantern flies). Our waiter was great, very attentive and friendly. They have a great cocktail list. I had the Frontporch Burger, it was great, I liked that it was served on focaccia. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend a visit.“

“This is a nice restaurant. The food was good and the service was well-done. With my food allergies, the menu was a bit limited. I can't eat garlic so I had only a few options. The prices are a bit on the high side. My salad meal with one drink and one appetizer was $48 for one person. The restaurant would improve if the lighting was brighter. It was quite dark in the restaurant.“

“Me and my family order from here pretty often, we typically don't have any problems and the food is delicious however just like alot of restaurant on weekends the food seems rush and thrown together, I ordered pizza, steak salad and wings with ranch on the side. the pizza was perfect but the salad barely and anything in it and only tiny bit meat and the ranch spilled all over the wings so I had to drive to get more since my husband can't eat ranch; I'll definitely be back but would probably consider only eating in on weekends for a better experience.“

“This place came recommended from some of my friends and it didn't disappoint. I tried their fried zucchini which came out slides thinly and coated in what I believe is panko. It comes with marinara, but I asked if they had any horseradish sauce and they do. If any of you are old enough to remember the Italian Oven chains from the 80s, this app tasted very closely to that dish and I mean that in a very complimentary way. Lightly breaded, fried nicely, and covered with Parmesan. We also tried the Lumpia (pork spring roll served with a Thai sauce). The consensus is that they were fine, but they didn't stand out to us in any way and I'd likely try a different app in the future. I went with the Rueben sandwich on a brioche roll as I just really dislike marble-rye. This was as good a Rueben as I've ever had. The corned beef was thick, tasty, and loaded on the sandwich. The Swiss cheese was liberally used and when I took a bite, I got that thick, delicious string of cheese pulling between the bite and sandwich. The kraut flavor was subtle and added that nice flavor contrast and the Thousand Island dressing appeared homemade as it was creamy and stood out from the standard dressing. A side of shoestring fries was served and I didn't expect much since those type of fries often get crunchy or tough, but the fries were popular as they were tender and flavored nicely. The fried fish sandwich was really enjoyable as it was served nicely coated and on a decent bun. They offered quite a few desserts, and I tried a bit of the vanilla creme brûlée and it was just how you'd want it. Crispy top with some whip cream dolloped on. The Chocolate Sauce is akin to a lava cake that was served with two scoops of ice cream and whip cream and with chocolate sauce. Both desserts were solid. The house salad is pretty typical, but I did appreciate the use of spring mix salad and chick peas. The Blue Cheese dressing was quite good. Our server was excellent as she was quick to check on us and making sure we had everything we wanted even though she appeared really busy. I know this isn't something huge to many, but their iced tea was a big hit with us. We mentioned it and we were told that they brew it fresh daily and it's enjoyable. We look forward to going back and checking out some of their other apps and meals.“

“Journee was a very nice waitress and overall I enjoyed my visit. They have free wifi and a plug somewhat close by if you need to charge your laptop (bring a long cord). The bathrooms are super nice and they do a good job of managing food allergies. All that being said, unfortunately every time I visit a burgatory, the food is always just meh. It doesn't really have much flavor and the gluten free bun was stale. If they can fix that I would definitely come here more oftenDietary restrictions: Gluten free bun available“

“A Must-Try Spot in Pittsburgh!I recently had the pleasure of visiting Primanti Brothers during my first trip to Pittsburgh, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience! This place is an absolute gem, and I can't recommend it enough. The atmosphere at Primanti Brothers is casual and welcoming, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat with friends or family. But let's talk about the food – it's out of this world! I tried their famous Reuben Sandwich on Rye, and it blew my mind. Picture this: grilled meat, melted cheese, coleslaw, tomato slices, and French fries all sandwiched between two thick slices of Italian bread. It's a flavor explosion with every bite! What I love most about Primanti Brothers is the authenticity of their dishes. Each bite is packed with flavor, and you can tell that they take pride in using quality ingredients. Plus, the portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry.I also want to give a special shout-out to my bartender (I didn't catch her name, unfortunately). She provided top-notch service, always with a smile and great recommendations. Her friendly demeanor really added to the overall experience. If you're visiting Pittsburgh or even if you're a local looking for a delicious meal, do yourself a favor and stop by Primanti Brothers. Trust me, you won't regret it!“
