“My wife and I have been to the French Manor 4 or 5 times over the past 7 years. It is our happy-place getaway in the Pocono mountains. The scenery in the fall is incredible, the staff are welcoming and excellent, and the restaurant is truly incredible. Our goal is to plan at least one weekend trip every year. I highly recommend!!“

“A restaurant full of history.Incredibly fun to walk through antique shop, fascinating treasures, interesting artwork, each room had a unique flavor and ambiance. Now, the food...Great authentic German cuisine experience. Pretzel-like bread was especially delicious. Great variety of different schnitzel and German meats. Didn't order and beer, but many different options available. Fresh and made right there in the adjoining kitchen to dining area. Feels intimate and as if you're enjoying a home cooked meal.Special recognition to the experience and atmosphere. Owners are great hosts and make you feel like family.“

“Typical diner, food was great, service was superior. Only gave 4 stars because it was nothing extraordinary. It was very good. We both had 2 eggs, potatoes, toast—one of us had bacon and one pork roll. Coffee was good. Would stop again if in the area. Tips are appreciated in cash but diner does take credit cards.“

“Reno's Pizza 507 is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the delightful aroma of freshly baked pizza. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the pizza itself. It's simply outstanding! The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside yet light and fluffy on the inside. The sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are fresh and plentiful. Whether you're a fan of classic pepperoni or prefer something more adventurous like BBQ chicken, Reno's Pizza 507 has something for everyone. But it's not just the pizza that's fantastic. The menu also features a variety of other delicious options, including salads, pasta, and sandwiches. And don't even get me started on the garlic knots – they're absolutely addictive!Overall, Reno's Pizza 507 is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious, authentic pizza. The food is top-notch, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Do yourself a favor and check it out – you won't be disappointed!“

“Best Chinese food I've had outside of Chinatown or New Jersey. Nice friendly staff. Flavorful food. Dark brown sauces (not light) and roast pork fried rice has flavor and everything you'd expect in it (not barely cooked white rice with just onions!)Will definitely go back again and again!Wheelchair accessibility: 100% wheelchair accessible.“
“The food is really good and you get a lot of it for your money. It's very sports bar feeling (not my favorite). The service is pretty good, not amazing, but I can't really complain.Vegetarian options: House SaladDietary restrictions: My wife is allergic to mushrooms and she was able to get stuff without mushrooms in it. They were accommodating in this way.“
“My husband and I have been vacationing here in the Poconos for about 10 years. We are from Maryland. We discovered Cakes and Scones several years ago and ever since, we make it a point to go to our favorite bakery, Cakes & Scones! Always have had the best scones, cakes (esp the chocolate lava cake!!), coffee, quiches, and pies!!!We bought a blueberry crumb pie this year and it was loaded with blueberries and not too sweet, but sweet enough! It was delicious to say the least!! One reviewer complained that they did not have doughnuts—I would refer that said person to check out Dunkin Doughnuts!!Tere and Andy are wonderful bakers, pleasant to talk to and most helpful. We always look forward when we come to the Poconos and check out their latest bakery item!! We have never been disappointed!!“

“Last time I was here The Brookside was under different ownership and that review probably would have been 2 stars. Since the new ownership has taken over they have changed some decor and brightened the place up a bit and have started doing some differently themed food days like a wing night and a southern soul food style Sundays event. The service here has been good the few times I’ve been in. I’m always greeted immediately and helped to a beverage and given a menu. I haven’t experienced any long waits to get another drink and everyone has been very friendly. This review specifically is on their wings. We were in on a wing night and got the garlic ranch wings and the Kings hot honey wings. This wing special night has a list of sauces that changes weekly. You’ll still have your staples every week but there are quite a few that rotate in and out so it doesn’t get stale. My gf loves the garlic ranch and I’m consistently trying new flavors. I also had the blackberry bbq which were very tasty, and the plain Buffalo (The OG baby) also has good flavor. These wings are nice and crispy without sacrificing the juiciness of the meat itself. They are not tiny little wings but they are also not these mammoth ones you see at some places where it’s impossible to get a proper cook on them and still have good texture.I’ll be back in soon to try out that Southern food menu, but the wings absolutely Didn’t Suck!“

“Great local spot in the area. The staff is very friendly and the food came out fast. I got the Pittsburg burger which came with crispy fries and we also got pierogis and penne a la vodka. Def good picks, would like to try the rest of the menu!“

“Stopped by for gas and saw the resturaunt right across. We were hungry so we stopped in. Everyone was so kind and understanding with whatever we needed. Prices are reasonable and proteins are huge! The ravioli was the best with beef and pork stuffed in them. The fettuccine Alfredo had smooth and silky noodles but the chicken was a little too dry/tough. The chicken in the parmigiana was good though! The free focaccia bread was unexpected but yummy! Great addition to the meal. Clean bathrooms and a great dinner to keep going with our 12 hour drive home.“

“local pub atmosphere not a problem just wasn't expecting it and with menu option and prices. I thought it would be a little bit more upscale. But if you know what you're in for the staff was fantastic. They were accommodating. They were friendly. They were knowledgeable. The food was excellent. The portions were plentiful. The prices were a bit on the high side to be honest $80 for a steak is not the norm and the size was not so large that it was unable in one sitting ?Besides that there was also plenty of parking I would definitely return and you go in casual clothing and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the fantastic foodThere are many less expensive options on the menu .“

“This place was amazing! We left Kalahari to have dinner in town, and we came up on this fun restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious and they had many desserts to choose from, but the best part was all the activities that they have for the kids. They were a few bouncy houses/inflatable's, rock walls, ropes, and a large gymnastics/tumble mat. The service was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this place for anyone, especially with the family!“
