They were shorthanded that day and the focus was on drive-thru but once a nice lady came to the counter it was all good. They got our order correct and the food was good. I stopped in for the first time this morning with the intention of getting an iced latte and a muffin but left with more Johnny Waffles and a great start to my morning. I was greeted and served by Sonja (sorry if that’s misspelled), the manager, and she is so welcoming, sweet, and open to conversation. She gave me some background on the business, herself, and the Johnny Waffle origin story which was cool. The coffee is excellent and this cafe is a great addition to Canonsburg. “It was our very first time visiting the store. We fell positive vibrations and energy once we entered the store. We were amazed of how the shop looked. The staff was very friendly and helpful we ordered a dozen of specialty donuts which were outstanding. We also ordered two doggy donuts for our boxer Rocco. “Super cute coffee shop and lunch spot, the decor is perfection and the vibes are lovely! There was a man playing guitar on this Saturday morning and it was so pleasant and not too loud. The food looked amazing but we only got coffee and damn if it wasn’t one of the worst lattes I’ve ever had in my life. Just watered down, stale tasting, flavoring was off… we couldn’t even finish half like they were just disgusting. I don’t know how they are making them but it actually tasted like lukewarm dirty water to the point where my stomach was upset like it didn’t even taste like there was any coffee in it? You might have to walk half a block, but we've never had trouble finding a spot within a reasonable distance. It's a very walking friendly neighborhood and a lot of the patrons arrive on foot.“

When I received my sandwich instead of the picked veggies and chilled pasta salad that comes with the sandwich at the other location I received a pile of "the bottom of the bag chips". I was so disappointed! My " go too" chicken salad sandwich was lacking and was not the usual awesome sandwich I receive at the Bridgeville location. The atmosphere was also not great- hearing the teenager conversations go on very loudly was disappointing. I will not be coming back to this location.“

“I absolutely love this addition to the neighborhood! However I do think it is a little ahead of the neighborhood and can understand why the store front is usually slow in business. I walked to the shop with my pup one morning to grab a drink for my husband and I. Matcha was delicious, cappuccino I ordered my husband was a bit acidic but he enjoyed it! Price point is high for the neighborhood but what I would expect for what I am being served. I hope they are able to keep their store front as the neighborhood grows!
