The receptionist told me they would deliver it to my house so I didn’t have to wait. Literally less than 10 minutes later the receptionist who took my order was the one who hand delivered my order to me at my house! “They've been serving up the same great, unique pizza for many decades. I'm in my 50s and my parents would take us there on many weekends. The crust is a bit different from a typical pizza, and the cheese is, I believe, mostly high quality deli American and it melts into the sauce in just an amazing way. I've tried a lot of things on the menu and the only thing that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed is the drop noodles. I'd never had them before and they just weren't for me. I think they'd probably go over well for someone who grew up on them. Anyway. The pizza is excellent. The pierogies are fresh and fantastic, with so many filling options! I'm partial to the chili dog pierogies but those are only available sometimes. Check out Facebook for their specials. They have specials every week, including items not typically on the menu and special pierogi options. There are tables for dine-in but this place thrives on carry-out. 3% charge for paying with a card.“
“Love the Pagash!!! You gotta try it. I can’t believe I missed this one BIG thing yesterday! This is one thing that is completely different from EVERY other place that I’ve had so far (ever). Now that I realize it today, it’s kind of magical and I’m not going to “give away” what it is but I am pretty sure it is the cause of what my mouth is telling my brain today. The taste balance is pretty spot on! Between the crust, cheese, filling, onion - nothing overpowers the other. I love these onions. That’s all there is to that. But this crust… I noticed it yesterday but I was dismissive and today I was able to zoom in a bit and realize what I missed. The crust has a great taste but the light / flaky / crunchiness has an almost fried feeling to it, without the pan-fried oil. Basically, you’re getting a pan-fried like crust, that isn’t fried and not oily. I haven’t seen this before and it was slightly mind boggling so I had to reach out to Al and ask if it was fried or not - and he confirmed that it is not. It’s baked. Then I found a secret difference that I think helps lead to this magical crust…. To me, this makes pizza plus like no other I’ve had so far. It’s good. Go see if you can find what I’m talking about ...“
“Izzy provides a fun experience by allowing customers to make their own 10-inch pizza. Customers are given the option of thin ot thick crust and then the rest is up to them. Once prepared, staff then puts the pizza in the oven. I like my pizza on the plain side, so I opted for extra sauce, a normal amount of cheese, and a few pieces of pepperoni. Everything turned out great.The environment is fun, as walls are covered in various pizza-related photos and artwork. There's also a large chalkboard along the walls where customers may make their own art.Staff at Izzy’s was friendly and cheerful, and the restaurant was clean. It also offers a soda bar, where guests can create their own flavors. The menu includes many other options than "make your own pizza," so customers have a variety from which to choose.I'd go back!“

I discovered that Italian name pizza place doesn't quite narrow it down in a city blessed by many pizzerias. We accidentally found Vincenzos again and what a treat. We had the meat lover large pizza sans ham with extra cheese. Very good food. Service was very good considering it was older regulars and I'll behaved children night and they were very busy. Everytime we return to Scranton we will make it a point to return as this place provides high quality delicious food and value for money. Bravo Vincenzos! “The Peanut Bar is one of my favorite places to visit in Carbondale. It's the "go to place" if you're looking for something to do or a good crowd to hang out with. The staff and bartenders are very kind and personable. Also, the Sweet and Spicy burger is one of my menu favorites. It has candied jalapeños, bacon, cheddar cheese, frizzled onions, and hot honey sauce on it. Get it with the hand cut fries and it is perfection! I highly recommend stopping in here and trying the food or any of their specialty drinks. I might have to go tonight because now I am thinking about the burger after writing this review. Haha. If this isn't for you, then take a short walk to the Cashew Lounge right behind it.“

If he were still with us today, I'm sure he'd agree with me when I say this is the best NY pizza place you will find in the Scranton-Wilkes area. And their prices are very reasonable, just $15 for an 18 inch pie. Whenever my family gets a hankering for pizza, or if we just don't feel like cooking but also don't want to spend over $30 on takeout, this is where we go, every time. Oscar is a very down-to-earth man and although I'm not religious myself, I can't help but be enchanted by he and his family's devotion to their faith; last time I was there having dinner with my family, he was setting up a church next door. He and his family deserve all of the success they've earned thus far, and I hope they're here to stick around for a long time to come! As long as they're here, they have my family's support.“

“Was able to drop in yesterday and check out G&M’s warehouse near Idle Hours South in Scranton. I have been meaning to come here for nearly a year now and finally had a day where I could line it up.I love cooper sharp cheese for cheesesteaks so I began trying it on other things and realized I love it on breakfast sandwiches and burgers too. When someone told me the burgers here were great and I saw one on their menu with Cooper Sharp, it was on like donkey Kong … or just a fat hungry guy ??♂️The Cooperstown Burger was a bacon cheeseburger with caramelized onions using cooper Sharp. It was served on a brioche roll and I added the pickles from the side to the burger. I opted to add fries and cole slaw to the plate (I believe that was a $4 upcharge). “This place is really great! I ordered the Detroit pizza and the mild garlic wing bites, and everything was delicious. The pizza crust was nice and crunchy, and the sauce had a nice sweetness to it. The wing bites were made from good quality chicken, and they were spicier than I expected, but for me, that was a positive thing. The staff was really great as well. One thing to note is they are cash only which was slightly disappointing but when I was there picking up my order it appears that they do accept Venmo as payment there was a QR venmo scan code on the counter so next time I'll have to try that. Either way, I would highly recommend this establishment.“

“We have just discovered this place and have went twice so far. The outside dining is absolute vibes and great atmosphere. The staff including bus girl were all great except our waitress. We had Linda both times we went there and the first time she was rude and was rushing and I thought maybe she was just having a bad day but we just had her again yesterday and she had the same attitude. She was looking at my husband and asking him questions that pertained to my order cause I guess I can’t answer for myself. I was given a rude reaction because I asked if I can have my soup and salad come out at the same time cause I wanted them both as my entree and that was crossing the line I suppose. She rushed through taking our order and made mistakes to both mine and my husbands food. It is just a shame because it’s a great place and has great food but I guess next time I make a reservation I will ask to sit wherever she will not be our waitress. Other than that, I highly recommend.“

“My new Pizza Friday "go to". I first had this at the Italian Festival and I really enjoyed it. It is classic NY style pizza. Great tasting crust, sweet tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Whenever I order it is ready in 15 minutes - which beats the 1.5 hour wait for a pizza in the Abingtons on a Friday night. Yes - the location is "unique" (they share a storefront with Subway ) but the quality is incredible. Careful - the online menu is out of date and they no longer offer many of the menu items. But many items are still supported and the handwritten board on the wall is "the menu". I ordered the tomato bacon - which is no longer on the menu - so at first they said they could not make it - but after some conversation they said "we'll make it happen". It was incredible - fresh tomatoes instead of sauce with crispy bacon bits generously tossed on the cheese. One slice will do it - it's thick and chock full of tomato's. $20 for the large - you can't beat that. I always get a parking spot right in front of the Federal building so pickup has yet to be an issue. Step outside your comfort zone and give this establishment a hard look. You won't be disappointed. I really like the staff as well - so accommodating.“

“I wanted to have a 60th birthday party for my husband in his hometown of Dunmore. A friend suggested Fireside Martini Grill and I'm so thankful he did! The owner was so easy to deal with even from afar and was always very prompt in getting back to me with answers to my questions and concerns. Living out of state, I had never been to the restaurant but when we went to check it out on the day of the party I was very pleased and knew it was the perfect venue for the event! It was a large party so we had the entire place to ourselves. The restaurant was a nice, casual atmosphere with a long bar. The enclosed deck had multiple tables with fire pits in the center. We opted for the appetizers and the buffet dinner. The appetizers were amazing! The servers passed them around multiple times and everyone had more than enough. Dinner was equally good and plenty of food! If that wasn't enough, the bartender and servers were the best! From start to finish, the service Jim and his staff provided was excellent and made for a very successful and stress free party! I would highly recommend this business whether its for a private dinner or a big party!“

My daughter and I followed the recommendation and shared the steak & cheese hoagie and were not disappointed! My son-in-law had a tasty chicken parmesan hoagie. Went back the next day to try the sausage & peppers and roast beef hoagies, while my son-in-law did a repeat of the chicken parm. All were excellent and were a great value! Will have to be a go-to spot when I’m in town!“

I’m not afraid to say that due to these economic times, cheap pizza is the better pizza. HOWEVER! You get what you pay for. My partner and I bit the bullet and paid for their plain cheese pizzas, just to test them out. We were genuinely surprised ! It was delicious ! And absolutely worth the price. I’ve tasted dominos one too many times. This isn’t even comparable. If you want cheap tasting pizza for a deal, get dominos. but if you want the bang for your buck, stop by these guys. “I heard about this place by seeing the commercial on TV so I wanted to check it out. It's a nice little place offering a basic but decent menu. Scoping the menu I ordered their pizza steak which is a steak hoagie with sauce and mozzarella cheese. This was around a 6 inch sub for around 9 bucks. It was packed with steak. I also ordered 2 cuts of their regular plain pizza, $2.50 per slice. The pizza had a nice crisp taste. It was a nice tasting cut of pizza. Do recommend if you are out in the area. Until next review.
