“Went here around 2pm and it wasn’t busy. The service was quick and the food came out so fast! We got the special arroz chaufa, salchipapas, and lomo Saltado. The portions were great and the food was tasty, just needed some more salt and flavors (I added a little more soy sauce to the chaufa and the Peruvian green sauce to the food). Still worth the money. The drinks hit the spot and were worth it as well! The value of the meal to the quality was definitely on par and we would definitely go back.“

“I normally don't rate food places like this. Since I can't eat a lot of fish. All I can say is the freshest of fresh meats and everything in between. The hospitalitiy is always great and they are super quick. I couldn't have had a better experience. I absolutely recommend this place for a great meal with good atmosphere.“

“Quick turnaround on your order. I would definitely stick with steamed dumplings vs. Fried. Crab Rab appetizer are medium size not very large. LO mein was delicious Snrimp Egg foo young ..delicious ask for flat not chucky. General chicken good. I wish they offered the General shrimp on delivery menu . We pick up bi weekly or monthly from here yet I hv not asked if they can do the generals shrimp in a brown garlic sauce as that is fabulous and my go to. If I don't stick with veggies. Try and Enjoy! “Standard Chinese restaurant fare. Food was tasty and enough for leftovers. Ordered the shrimp with mixed vegetables, fried rice, egg roll, and wonton soup combination dinner. They also provide sliced oranges when they bring the check. The atmosphere is plain and mostly empty on a Saturday night, but the food and service was great. Very fast service. Lots of people there for takeout.“
“This place has restored my faith in Chinese food. There general tso chicken was delicious. Chicken wasn't string like how most places are anymore. There cheese Wontons were excellent weren't over fried and there pork fried rice was excellent to the rice was nice and moist wasn't dried out like most places very good flavor to it as well. “My first time eating here my niece told me to try it out so my nephew and I went. The sign says eat in or pick up but when I went in to get a menu there was only one small table by the door so it was more so pick up Chinese food. I was really hungry and ended up ordering more than I wanted but don't pull a woman during menopause away from food when she's hungry. Anyway I ordered qt of chicken noodles soup which was really good, is it me or does all Chinese chicken noodles soup taste the same in every restaurant?? Then I had the breaded scallops which I have to say were the best I ever had, so fresh and juicy. Then the beef teriyaki aka steak on a stick another good pick, also seafood combination platter which had crab meat, crawl fish, little lobsters I couldn't believe it small little lobster, scallops, also a excellent dinner and not shy with the seafood. And finally shrimp Mei fun, also very good. Ended up with a lot of leftovers but nothing went to waste great for the next day.. I don't live near these cities I give my nephew a ride to his Dr appointment. I will be definitely stopping there again and the owners or workers are very friendly,, ya have to try this restaurant you won't be sorry "“

“The best Chinese in the Scranton area!!! Rice doesn't have veggies in it (which I like) but you can request veggies. Sweet and sour chicken is my favorite!!! The sauce is the best around!!! I'm originally from New Jersey, and this place is just as good!!!“

“Food was great and woman taking orders was very patient and kind. We ordered at the counter and did have to wait 30 min for a family sized order on a Friday evening. As a former restaurant worker there were some concerns about cleanliness and overall sanitation.(I would recommend calling in order ahead of time versus having to sit waiting. There were some other patrons who made the visit uncomfortable so I don't want to blame that upon the business but I also would take caution on bringing children to the Keyser Oak plaza on a Friday evening.)Kid-friendliness: Not unfriendly but wouldn't recommend setting for sit down eating.“

“I honestly cannot say enough great things about the quality and tasty food Eastern Wok provides NEPA. I’ve been a patron for years and will be for many years to come.Over many years, I believe I’ve tried every single Chinese takeout restaurant in the Scranton area and, as a transplanted NY’er, my standards are high and the only Chinese takeout in the Scranton area that comes the closest to Canal St. standards is Eastern Wok. Like many others have told me, the tiniest of holes in the wall always have the best food.Thank you Eastern Wok for providing our area respectable, delicious and tasty Chinese food!!“

“Ever since I tried their food, me and my son are hooked. Used to go to local place on Keyser ave for 17 yrs until finding this place. Reason for only 4 stars, overall total for an order is pricey and we order same items all the time, prices change.“

“We ONLY order from QQs. Why change when you’re getting the best. So nice on the phone. Quick with my order and remembers my name and my address just by voice. Love the swt & sr meals, gen thos chk and sesame chk. Sometimes I look up weird or unusual Chinese dishes online and ask if they can prepare it for me and they do. Overall a great restaurant“

“First time here as we’re in the search for a new place. The food was really good. Wonton soup was excellent my only complaint is that the wontons were a lil mushy from sitting in the broth to long but otherwise is was flavorful and the wontons tasted good. Also ordered a Shrimp Tempura which was good and very generous for the price.Dumplings and egg rolls were very good and both the pepper steak and pork with snow peas were very generous on the meats.House fried rice was also very good!We will be back“

“King's Wok: A Testament to Consistent Quality and Culinary DelightHaving perused numerous reviews in search of a reliable dining option, I decided to pen my own experience at King's Wok. It's gratifying to affirm that this local eatery not only meets but exceeds the expectations set by its impressive 4.9-star rating based on the feedback of seven other patrons.Cuisine: Each visit to King's Wok has been a reaffirmation of their commitment to quality. The food is consistently delectable, served piping hot, and bursting with authentic flavors that pay homage to traditional recipes. The chefs here have mastered the delicate balance of spices and textures, ensuring that from the first bite to the last, the palate is engaged and satisfied. In all my culinary ventures here, I've yet to encounter a dish that didn't delight.Service: The service at King's Wok mirrors the quality of its cuisine – exceptional. There's a palpable sense of pride in how they serve their patrons. Whether I opt for takeout or dine in, the staff are always attentive, ensuring that every part of the meal is to my liking. The efficiency and warmth of the service add a notable charm to the dining experience.Value: With meal prices ranging between $10 and $20 per person, King's Wok stands as a paragon of value. It is a rare joy to find a place where the cost does not impinge upon the quality of the food or the service. It’s affordable enough to become a regular on one's dining list, yet the experience feels anything but commonplace.Ambiance: While my visits have primarily been for takeout, it's worth noting that the ambiance within King's Wok is not conducive to a casual, enjoyable dining experience. It’s not the sort of establishment where one can unwind and relish a good meal in a relaxed setting. Conclusion: In an era where the consistency of dining establishments can wax and wane, King's Wok stands as a beacon of dependability. It's heartening to know that regardless of the occasion – a family dinner, a quick solo meal, or a festive gathering – I can count on King's Wok to deliver nothing short of culinary excellence. This establishment has rightfully earned its high rating, and I look forward to many more meals to come.“
