The place is always lively and full. We ordered the pasta and absolutely loved it. Very delicate and full of flavor. The complimentary bread they give was great.

Best Italian food in Philly - and maybe East Coast

Came with a group of 5 on Sunday at the end of brunch and had such a great experience. The food was top notch, the brussels, artichokes, ravioli, risotto and tortellini were some of the best we’ve ever had anywhere. The service was also fantastic! We will be back :)
Ambrosia did a great job for a wedding rehearsal dinner for 46 people. My wife and had previously enjoyed dinner here on multiple occasions. We were fortunate enough to use their brand-new space and it was a pleasure working with both owner’s (Fredi and George) in planning the dinner and bar menus, very accommodating with our selections. We used the 1st floor space for a cocktail hour that included an open bar and mix of hors d’oeuvres (group enjoyed many oysters and shrimp). Dinner was on 2nd floor where our guests enjoyed 2 options for the 1st, 2nd courses and desert with 4 options for main course. Our guests gave us great reviews about how delicious the food (Burrata, Tortelloni and Short Rib were big hits) along with the great service provided by the staff, our wine glasses were never empty! Thank you Fredi and George for making this special occasion a great evening!

Amazing experience from the service, to the meals, to the dessert and espresso martinis. We had the duck, short rib, muscles, crispy gnocchi, ravioli and oysters. All were so delicious I would recommend each one!Espresso martinis were smooth and tasty and our server was fast and efficient.Definitely going back I love this place

Dinner was excellent. The tortelloni with mascarpone and truffle cream sauce was as good as any pasta dish we had in a recent 2 week trip to Italy. The Brussels sprouts were the best I have ever had— and I order them regularly.
Food was good but how are you going to have a restaurant in a major city that closes at 930 on the weekend? Where is the glamour where is the fun where is the excitement??

If I could rate this more than a 5 I would. We were here for brunch for a party of 12 people. Big parties are really hard to book. There was lots of room for us - the serve staff was kind and helpful! Since it was BYOB - we bought champagne! Food was amazing. Every order was correct. And really great!
