This is such a cool spot. I love Chickie and Pete's but there's definitely something special about this spot. Had lunch here on a Wednesday and had great service and great food.
Dropped my wife off for a class and had some time to kill. Trying to figure out where to go and found out there was a Chickie's and Pete's near by, so I decided to stop by. Decided to sit at the bar and the staff was friendly and let me know it would take some time but they would take my order. Cool time hitting up the original Chickie & Pete's! Like the older, smaller, dive bar feel much better than the more modern large scale restaurants. Could be in my head, but the fries seemed fresher and crispier than other locations. Had the roasted pork sandwich - wow, huge and delish! Even grabbed a sweet Chickie's Eagles tee for my girlfriend while there. Oh, and free street parking on Friday early evening was a breeze.
